## What is HoldTempo?

Create and save hangboard timers with your own work and rest intervals, repetitions and sets. Run a session and keep a private log on your iPhone.

Keep completed, stopped and interrupted sessions in your local history. Optional sound marks work, rest and natural completion; preview the finish sound or turn sound off in Settings. Sound works only in the foreground and respects Silent mode and volume.

It does not provide coaching, assess physical performance, diagnose conditions, interpret pain, or recommend training loads.

Timing runs only while this app is in the foreground. Leaving the app pauses it; return and resume explicitly.

Optional private notes about what you did. No targets, suggestions or assessment. Leaving fields blank is valid.

Timers and session notes stay in this app’s local store. No account, analytics, tracking or cloud sync. No Health, Watch, background timing or notification permission is requested. Your system backups may include app data.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-29

After you have completed and saved sessions on different days, HoldTempo may offer Apple's optional rating prompt when you return to your timers. It never interrupts an active timer. Your timers and private history stay on your device.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-09-24

No release notes.
