But the addition of the golden items has tanked it for me. I don’t mind ads, they’re the lifeblood of developers, but to lock progress behind them is a step too far. If you pick up a golden item you can’t opt out of getting the coins, there’s no exit button, you’re forced to watch an ad lest you forfeit the level. And further upgrades also seemed to be locked behind ads. Like I said I don’t mind ads in games. But making the game unplayable lest you sit through advertisements is a bridge I’m not willing to cross.
