A rip off of Hole.io ### 1/5 — Forced to allow analytical advertising data to be scraped *2024-09-30, version 1.0.6* I was interested in playing a multiplayer game of this type- Until I finished downloading this one and got to the screen where it said at the TOP that all cookies were optional. Optional means that I CAN REFUSE all analytical cookies. There are two options on the screen as soon as you start up the app, before you even see how the game title screen looks. It is to allow data to be scraped from your acct for the purposes of targeting advertising, and seeing how you use the game. As soon as I opted out of the top selection, for game use, the analytical selection greyed out, and I could no longer switch it to disallow. If I wanted to continue and see what the game even looked like I HAD TO allow analytical cookies to be placed on my device despite the declaration ON THE SAME PAGE that said they were ALL optional. Not just all but the most invasive type. Those I had to allow. Um. NO. Maybe if I were to get to play and started to believe the game could go somewhere and I felt like contributing I may turn on those things but to be so blatantly dishonest I don’t care if all they did was tell how many hours I played the game, I’m not giving the owners of this app my VALUABLE data for free for them to profit from just so I can TRY OUT a new game.
