## What is Holi Color Timer?

Inspired by Holi - The Indian Festival of Color...
and RAINBOWS.

Simply set the session time, press START and watch the numbers fade away leaving only color. The color will change over the period of your session, displaying the SEVEN colors of the rainbow, in order, giving you a colorful, visual reference, showing how far into your session you are with NO NUMBERS.

Red - Orange - Yellow - Green - Blue - Indigo - Violet

For example - if the screen is GREEN you know you are around the half way mark. If the screen is VIOLET you know you are coming to the end of the session.

At the end of the set period the screen will return to RED and display the numbers 00:00 letting you know the session had ended. At this point your screen settings will return to normal and the screen will dim and turn off as per your device settings.

During the set period there are no numbers displayed on the screen, just the color referring to where you are in the session. However, if you do need an accurate time check simply tap the centre of the screen and the amount of time remaining will be displayed. Another tap will re-hide the time. While the numbers are displayed you can PAUSE the timer, RESUME the timer or CANCEL the timer.

Glancing at the color on your screen gives you a more accurate reference to where you are in the session, unlike numbers which can be misread. (for instance, 60 could be read as 80 but green is always green)

This app works by continuously displaying colors on your screen for the duration of the timer. If you have less than 20% battery remaining it is recommended that you plug your device into a power source.

I thought I’d be able to set the timer to a specific time but the only option is 60 minutes.

I use this timer for every massage treatment I give. It stops me worrying about timings, stops me clockwatching (there’s nothing but a changing array of colours to see) and I can see it from anywhere in the room easily. 

I wasn’t sure how well it would work for me at first... what colour comes when? What part of the treatment am I in? But after a few uses, I had got used to the order and now I love the simplicity and unintrusiveness of it.

Only one color. Isn’t the entire point to be able to pic from different colors to display? I can’t believe I paid for this- I feel like a sucker.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. Holi Color Timer is a session pacer that uses colors rather than numbers to track time. The colors are fixed in order as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet ( the colors of the rainbow) A good way to see how it works is to set the time for 5 minutes, press start and watch the colors change over the 5 minute period. I am currently developing a timer where the user can select the background Color, which sounds more like what you were expecting. I would be happy to send you a free voucher when it is available so you would not need to pay for it. I hope this will help.
