Use Airbnb or Vrbo. ### 1/5 — SCAM!! Do not use this app!! *2022-09-09, version 2.0.7* SCAM!! Do not use this app!! Me and my friend both booked through this app for the Passover holidays only to find that we had booked houses/apartments that didn’t actually belong to the people posting them. I was a little “luckier” than my friend. I found out a week before and then had to book a hotel last minute and the prices were crazy. My friend didn’t have it so good, they were “stood up” when they arrived in Jerusalem with no place to stay. It was a nightmare for them. Standing on the streets of Jerusalem with their kids and luggage without any place to stay. DO NOT book with this app! You will get scammed. Also, there is no oversight as far as the people who created/run the app. There is also no way to reach them. I tried many times to contact them and there’s no response. It’s as if they don’t actually exist. Save yourself time, money and frustration and book with Airbnb, not here. ### 1/5 — SCAM ALERT !!!! *2022-06-22, version 2.0.7* Someone turned up to my house claiming they’ve rented it. I also hesitate when I read a review which is overly negative. I caution anyone contemplating doing business with this company to first read my review. If I could give zero stars, that would be too generous. When I found this app I was so impressed by the selection of rental units which were beautiful and well priced. The process until you reserve a unit is pretty good. But don’t be fooled. Once you’re credit card has been charged, it’s all downhill from there. The confirmation has very very limited information. When I sought clarifications from Holidator they didn’t respond to any emails. The unit owner / rental company didn’t answer my questions. Given my rental dates were approaching, I wanted to know simple things like the unit number and how to access the rental. The owner canceled my reservation but has yet to issue my refund. They tried to get my banking information, claimed to have tried to issue a refund via PayPal which was canceled. Holidator responded to one email about looking into the situation. Holidator has not responded again after several weeks nor have they issued a refund to my credit card. This is a total scam. Stay away. ### 1/5 — Scam *2022-02-10, version 2.0.7* This app is either fully or partially a scam, people need to be very careful using it. Apple should take this app down until a thorough investigation is performed. They will ask you to pay via credit card, will tell you it doesn’t work, and then send you a PayPal request, DO NOT DO IT!!!! ### 1/5 — Beware of this scam *2021-12-24, version 2.0.7* My husband booked a rental in Israel for the summer. We paid a $7,000 deposit. We cancelled before the cancellation deadline. They never returned our money or our emails. We come to find out that the listing was fraudulent. Holidator kept our entire $7,000. This is a scam. Do not use them. Don’t let them steal your money. ### 1/5 — Scam *2021-12-23, version 2.0.7* They allow individuals to post fake listings and then they steal your deposit. I lost $7,000 and they won’t even respond to an email. Do not use this app. They will steal your money and ruin your vacation. ### 1/5 — This is a scam *2021-10-07, version 2.0.7* This app is a scam. Both I and my friend tried to reserve apartments and we’re told, two times each on two separate credit cards each so four credit cards, that our cards weren’t going through so please wire money from our bank. This is not how business is conducted these days and this app should be removed from the App Store. They don’t even have a website , only an app. It’s a total fraud! ### 1/5 — Feel like a scam *2021-10-07, version 2.0.7* We found this app and both my friend and I tried two different apartments and both times we were told our credit cards don’t work (we each put in two different cc for a total of four) and that they would send us a link to pay by bank. No one does business like that anymore with banks. I wrote to company (which is only an app no website) and was told someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours - )and of course 24 hours has come and gone and no response). The “hosts” gave us the run around or never answered us.
