I feel like it has a lot of potential. There's just no freedom! You have to get each and every class, job, house, pet/boyfriend, car, and even clothes in the order they tell you to or you can't move forward. You can't even choose your significant other's gender which like... come on it's 2023. The jobs don't even pay enough to cover their requirements! I'm only able to stay afloat by watch a TON of ads. It's honestly more stressful than it is fun or relaxing, so I'll be deleting... It could be good but give your players freedom! Let them choose from jobs, apartments, cars, CLOTHES, etc. I wouldn't have minded watching all the ads if you'd given us some actual options. ### 3/5 — Why i gave it a three star *2022-11-21, version 1.9.3* I have it a three star because you have to pay taxes monthly for clothes, working, pets, a bf, fiancé, husband, children, & the worst part about it is that when you work you pay taxes but also earn less income please change that when you get a chance it makes me think of it worse than the real hollywood life ### 3/5 — Good But… *2022-05-20, version 1.9.3* Everything that everyone said about the game is true. It is fun and a good game to play when you need to pass time. Really feels like you are accomplishing things. What I hate about it is you literally have to watch 1000 adsJust to beat the game. Because without the ads you’re probably not gonna make it without going completely broke and then you lose. I would just recommend a few things 1. When you watch the ad to double the income from the job it only last for one minute but you watch a 30 second ad. Also, the ads are massive and I have to wait to the “next month” in order to watch another one. ### 3/5 — Okay game *2021-08-24, version 1.9.0* Okay so how do I change my clothes after getting married I buy clothes and it doesn’t even change and why are there multiple options in mood where you pay for 0 points that’s confusing and it’s addicting but it gets annoying sometimes if you try to complete this without ads and/ or paying you aren’t beating it I’ve tried multiple times.. ### 3/5 — Better but still needs work *2021-08-05, version 1.8.9* Better than the other game similar to this one. It’s mainly ads based, where you have to watch ads for most of they money you obtain. I’m currently 24 years old with 138K, Tip: do as much schooling when you are making 1.5K/month and just watch an ad to double your earnings to keep making money and go to school, do as much schooling as possible and focus on keeping up our smiles because you won’t have the time or money for it later so get it all done while you can afford it. CON: sometimes when I watch videos for a PRO, such as doubling monthly income, it won’t give me the benefit after completing the video. Please fix this!! Also, I don’t keep track of my money as much as I should, because I have so much more to keep track of, so hopefully they aren’t cheating me out of that as well but I would look into that as well !! I’m just annoyed by the fact that I thought it would be a lot more interactive, you know, like it is IN THE AD. I’m disappointed by that. However it’s an okay game. I’m having fun, considering, but there are a lot of things that don’t make sense. Why do you get a higher paying job, and have to go even cheaper with your decisions? Like If i want to go to a pie eating contest either Yes or No is correct for each time, it will be less random 4: And speaking of the popups PLEASE TELL ME WHY COUSIN BERRY KEEPS TAKING MY MONEY LIKE I SHOULD HAVE A CHOICE TO GIVE HIM MY MONEY LIKE BOI ### 3/5 — Good for 2 days *2021-07-16, version 1.8.8* At first it looks promising but after you play for a while you realize that you have to spend more to get the next promotion that don’t even pays for your bills, so you most of the time is force to take decisions that makes you spend a lot of money and the character is never happy doesn’t matter how much you have progressed in the game, she is never satisfied, very ungrateful of her since I had to watch a lot of ads to get her there without losing money. Sometimes you watch the ads and they don’t give you anything, you have to watch again, what’s going on with that anyway? But there is a very frustrating problem with it. When I watch a video to either skip ahead on the classes I take, to get more money, or to x2 my income, a lot of the times it won’t give me the money, skip the class, or x2 my profit. This is kind of infuriating because I just waste half of my time playing the game by watching videos that I think will give me a boost like it promises when in reality it’s just wasting my time. ### 2/5 — You have to watch ads to get any money *2021-07-14, version 1.8.8* The problem with this game is that you make like 1,000 a month and they force you to spend 2,000 a month just to proceed. You are just losing money and not saving up so you are stuck having to watch ads. It is boring and you have to stare at your phone screen until the 3 months pass. Not only that, but the choices are completely random. You will choose not to give someone money then you somehow lose 5k. It is not realistic. Also, i linked my facebook and didnt get 5k coins. I invited my friend and neither of us got 10k coins even though she clicked the link i sent her. ### 4/5 — love the game, one problem *2021-07-06, version 1.8.7* so it’s a great game; i’ll start off by saying that. graphics are wonderful, it’s it’s pretty easy to earn money. not gonna lie, it’s almost addicting. one small problem tho- to get some jobs, you need a certain amount of money. you don’t have to pay that money, you just have to have it in your bank. now this would normally make sense, but because i don’t have a good job already, i’m losing less monthly than i am making. so i’m watching ad after ad just to win money but i’m losing money in the process and i can’t seem to get to the money goal. and i’m at a point where i can’t degrade any of the things i’ve bought so i literally can’t do anything except watch more and more ads, or hope i win the lottery. any advice on what to do, other than paying real money? ### 2/5 — Not the best *2021-07-06, version 1.8.7* I kept seeing this app in my adds and thought I would try it out. I got to the job Bar-beck and started saving up for a car. I noticed that my money was disappearing and I took a look at my Income and Charges. I was only spending money on the necessary things for the job and spending $630 a month while I was only gaining $600 a month notice the problem. The game is rigged so you have to buy money. DON’T DOWNLOAD Go download an actual good game not some scam. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Your expenses will ALWAYS cost more than your income *2021-11-27, version 1.9.3* This game heavily relies on you watching ads to be able to survive. No matter what your income will always be in the negative. In order to progress in jobs you need to pay for specific things like classes, better housing, cars, food, etc. every time you’re close to getting your head above water, the next job requires more than what you currently have. You are permanently in the negative here and the game forces you to watch ads survive. It’s literally only a grab for ad revenue. ### 1/5 — Ad Farm *2021-07-29, version 1.8.8* In order to complete this game, you HAVE to farm the ads because later in the game, it forces you to live in the negative until you move up into late career. But lately, even when I do watch the ads it doesn’t give me the rewards! You absolutely have to watch the ads unless you want to waste your actual money. It’s a waste of time and isn’t even fun later in the game, especially when the ads aren’t paying out!! You have to spend half the month reclaiming happiness and health just to make it to the next ad so you can get more money. It’s ridiculous. There is no way to make money in the middle careers since everything costs more than what you make. ### 1/5 — Was excited but severely disappointed *2021-07-26, version 1.8.8* I was super excited to play this game, and couldn’t wait for it to download. However, when I finally got to playing it was severely disappointing. The execution on this game was poor and lacking in my opinion. First of all everything is outrageously expensive, I mean $300 a month for a freaking fish just so my avatar is less lonely? On top of that you can’t get a new job in the game unless you upgrade the food your eating, the clothes your wearing, the classes you took, and the vehicle you drive, but you need money to get those which you have none because you job doesn’t pay enough! Then there are the choices which seem like no matter what you choose your going to loose something. Also as the months go by your health and happiness automatically decrease no matter what which also can prevent you from getting a new job. You pretty much have to watch hundreds of ads just to have a few thousand dollars for the next months expenses, or watch the same amount of ads to keep yourself happy and healthy enough. Another thing, you have to have certain things to get a job like a dog, $130,000, a fish, an apartment, 80+ happiness, a certain type of car, certain type of clothes, other. THEN, you get SOOOO MANNNYYY ADDDDDSSSSSS! And the the adds are SOO STUPID! But when that same questions pops up 5 seconds later and I press the same thing again , I loose thousands of dollars. Also , every time I boost my characters “ depression “ it goes down 2x more again. Don’t download this game , it’s terrible. I told myself that if I died again because of one of those stupid reasons I’m deleting the game. Just know that this app will be removed from my phone when I am done writing this review. ### 1/5 — Unfair, discouraging *2021-03-27, version 1.6.0* The purpose of this game is to watch ads. Unless you are willing to spend your own money or watch thousands of ads of the same thing, don’t do it. It was ok at first but becomes frustrating when it’s time to get a new career. You need a certain amount of money to go up in certain careers but the game makes u lose money on purpose forcing you to watch more and more ads to reach the money target. Aside from that I don’t like how you have so many cons in the game, like the little options that pop up at random, I chose not to go spend money and you end up making me pay twice as much as I would if I had just gone out in the first place by making some crazy scenario and I think it’s cool but it makes the game not so enjoyable ### 2/5 — Not enough game play *2021-09-27, version 1.9.1* This has such a great concept! I like the struggle with starting out and then slowly starting to build a better life. However, I feel this game is mostly as watching and very little game play. While I do like the option of getting more money by watching an ad, this game just has too many of them no matter what choices you choose to do. And I wish there was more movement in the characters, and more to do with actually going to auditions and having little tasks to complete in order to get a part. Same goes with seeing friends and family. All you get is a random pop up that says so-and-so wants to do this, and you just have to answer yes or no. It’s not very interactive. They make you upgrade your lifestyle when you can’t afford it. Well it’s either that or your character gets extremely sad and you have to use your money to keep up with the happiness. From the moment I started just seeing all the cool jobs and options immediately hooked me. You have to go through the jobs one by one, mirroring life choices and how to spend and use money wisely. As a minor this game will definitely help me out in the next couple years when I start making money and getting a part time job for some income. While you’re waiting for the months to pass in the game for a new job, you’ll get about two or three scenarios where it’s “gambling” away your happiness, health, and money. You have to understand the situation and pretend it was in real life. When answered, you can gain or lose any of your money, health, and happiness! Overall the game is extremely fun and I would definitely recommend! It’s an easy, self, paced game that makes you question how you’re going to use the rest of your life. I only have one slot/life that I play on, but it’s still really fun and amazing! I play this game nearly ALL THE TIME! It’s just so addicting and fun to play on! It takes a few tries of exiting and going back into the app to be able to play again, but it still pops up after a little while of playing. I have no problems with any of the ads I watch when trying to get more money or take courses faster, there is just this one ad that randomly pops up and will not go away. ### 4/5 — Can the ads match the gameplay please? *2021-10-17, version 1.9.1* The ads don’t match the gameplay, in fact even the pictures ‘from the game’ in the AppStore aren’t all in-game you can’t have more than 2 kids, you cants have a hawk and the female teen and child avatars are practically identical.
