Other than that dispute I like the new update and hopefully the game continues to get supported. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. The problem with the max opening of $250 million will be fixed in the next update. ### 4/5 — Close but major bug broke game *2026-05-23* Really loved this game, real time killer! But when I got to the stage of hiring legendary directors, they keep asking for a minimum three star script to be hired. However, I rewrote one script and got a perfect star rating (10). And he still says he needs a 3 star script. I also can’t hire a new director because he’s waiting for this 3 star script that isn’t coming. I have two films like this right now and it has stopped my progress. **Developer response:** Everything fixed and now live with our big 2.0 update. Check it out! ### 4/5 — Lots of Potential *2026-04-23* This a game I would play forever if you made some changes to it. The things that work are the budget you have to handle. I love how you’ve set up just the logistics of making movies and handling the board. I also love the reviews that come out, as well as the awards. I also like how you can track the box office every year. Here’s what I would love for you to change: 1. It’s far too easy to make a ton of money early on. This essentially makes the game so easy that I don’t care about playing it anymore. Please make this harder. 2. Can the board set different goals for you other than being financially solvent? Can they ask you to win awards? Or make a certain amount of action movies? I’m not entirely sold on this idea, but it might make things interesting. 3. Add more of Hollywood to the story. Please add a magazine like Variety or Deadline to talk about what the other studios are doing, what movies have a lot of buzz, make a Top 10 Rising Actors every year, etc. 4. Add more awards. Right now my films win out the Oscar’s in my second year. Can you make this harder AND add like, the Golden Globes or the Independent Spirit Awards? This way you can still get award nominations early in the game for the lesser award ceremonies, but it’ll take time to work up to the Oscars. 5. Please add an IMDB for the actors. It’ll just add so much more to the world building. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback. We really appreciate it. Keep enjoying the game! ### 4/5 — Great potential *2026-03-23* Solid game, but it’s not there yet. It’s relatively easy to become the #1 studio with more money than you know what to do with. You can then just do blockbusters with all of the best talent and it’s repetitive. Biggest complaint is the lack of instructions in the game or online. For example, how do the writer skills boost the subject matter? Do all subjects need put into a movie (like even a great action flick will have SOME humor) or does it make it worse by allocating points? What combos of movie focus create certain sub genres? Still gets 4* from me because I think it’s solid. Just has room for improvement. ### 4/5 — Very Promising Game *2026-02-02* Very good game really excited to see how it develops. Unfortunately lost my major save with the new update but the developer was very happy to make it right. A studio system is already in the works and will be added soon. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2026-03-31* Game not working properly to many bugs please fix it ### 1/5 — Game Wiped *2026-01-31* I did a simple update for the game and it wiped my massive save I had been working on since I got the game weeks of work, earnings, and films produced wiped because of this update. Absolutely ridiculous. Game has countless bugs which I was willing to overlook because I liked the game but not anymore would not recommend people buy it at this point. ### 1/5 — Bad *2026-01-30* I was liking it but then today I saw that the app changed, logged in and my studio with billions of dollars was gone. Fix this please **Developer response:** By adding BUZZ, which is a new data set used to calculate the success of films, the old save games could no longer be used because the risk of crash for save games with ongoing productions without the Buzz value was too high. We are truly sorry, but the next updates will not change the calculation, they will only add more content so that the problem with the save games will not occur again in the future. ### 2/5 — Bad Screen Design *2026-01-16* Actually a good Game . Unfortunately the screens or windows often do not fit the display size (iPhone 11). In some menus you can’t Click certain options at all because you can not properly scroll. For example when you distribute the 50 points, you can’t distribute points to the last two categories. 5 Stars if that will be fixed. **Developer response:** The problem with a wrong UI on some display sizes is now fixed. You can tell a lot of work has been put into it & can’t wait to see what improvements are coming…My only complaint is this is only game or app I use that totally sucks the life outta my battery from the minute I start playing & heats my phone up!! Also maybe add more themes to make movies, like musicals, parodies, etc. Also would be more fun if there are more posters for movies. But very promising! Just needs to be updated. **Developer response:** This is the first time we've heard about this. With DOPs, it's not necessary to make offers like you do with directors or actors. You can just book them. Enjoy the game and good luck at the Box Office. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great Game *2026-08-06* This game has become very addictive but I would also like to see a more diverse line up of casting characters for roles as many as possible and also more studio lots to have movies shot on and things like that too can’t wait for the next update the last one was really good. I’d also like to see a daily or weekly online system too were there is an event with a leaderboard on who can make the best movie based on objectives like genre or certain actor lineup and stuff. There should be an option in the character naming part too of creating our own directors and stuff too and matching up stories with archetypes that we want to have them written and directed in that certain way say we want to spread writing points in a certain way but the writers chosen don’t have that specific archetype options of strengths we can create one who does for example. ### 5/5 — A LOT OF FUN!!!!! *2026-07-27* i’m having the time of my life playing this game. I’d love to have higher ceilings for profit, maybe have a timestamp for streaming so you can make more money in the future for the same movie, allowing players spin-offs and prequels, the ability to buy other studios(not all because of monopoly laws), a way to cast the same people for the sequel, vary prices of directors and actors based on box office performance, and physical media(dvd,merch,video game deals, and toys) **Developer response:** Thank you for the review and your ideas. The latest update did get rid of my saved games though. Just an fyi - the most recent update wiped my saves though. Please fix for future updates. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Sorry for losing the saved games. Since Buzz is a new game element that feeds on new data, the save games could not be retained without this data. Whenever possible, we will avoid this in future updates.
