Filter by tradition. TAP ANY VERSE Highlight it in 10 colors. Favorite it. Write a note on it. Ask the AI. Start the audio there. Copy it, share it, or make it an image — square, portrait or 9:16 for stories, over your photo or a curated background. Set your font, size and line spacing, and read verse by verse or in paragraphs. A HABIT THAT STICKS — ALL FREE 18 reading plans, from Psalms in 30 Days to Genesis in 50, each tracking every passage so you know where you left off. Streaks with 6 milestone badges at 1, 3, 7, 30, 100 and 365 days. Earn a grace day every 7 active days to protect a streak automatically after one missed day. A hand-picked verse every day. Three gentle reminders: your daily verse, today's plan reading, and a nudge before a streak breaks. Home- and lock-screen widgets for the verse of the day, your streak and today's reading — stocked four weeks ahead, so they keep changing even if you never open the app. ALSO INSIDE Follow 11 biblical journeys and browse 4 historical maps, with places linked to Scripture. There are alot of Bible apps that attempt to help with this, but Bible Expert is really working to bring a full experience across the Apple Ecosystem. It brings in a full synchronization of highlights and notes across macOS iOS and iPadOS, and with watchOS capability, it’s great! Other Bible apps seem to leave out either one “OS” or don’t sync notes and highlights, but this one does a great job. Another great feature is translations. It’s so important to see different translations and the range PLUS offline capability is wonderful especially when you attend a church that doesn’t have great connectivity. Even translations like the NRSV-EU are here for a more academic approach. I have been working with the AI as well and feel it brings a well-balanced approach to hermeneutics even in dealing with challenging issues. It didn’t feel like it was pushing too much doctrine or bias in the response. The support has been great as well. The developer has been good at responding and has a great technical eye. Right now I’m to the point where I’m deleting my other Bible apps to fully test this as my primary digital consumption of Scripture. ### 5/5 — Beautiful app!! *2026-09-25* This is an amazing app! I love this. It’s so cool that you get to ask any questions about the Bible and Christianity!! ### 5/5 — Austan Sullivan Martin🧡 *2026-09-21* I love how you can download two versions to refer back to for studying! And the reminders keep me consistent, which is a skill I’ve been working towards! Thank you for this app, may you consider changing the cross depictions, my church Church of God A Worldwide Association, Inc.💟☪️✝️☮️ (don’t tell them I put the cross emoji!) ### 1/5 — Cost *2026-08-14* If I could give 0 stars I would. Bible apps should be free, not a free trial but free. By having to pay for the app, you could be preventing someone who is trying to get to know God better or get closer to God from doing so. Everything should not have a cost to it. When I discovered there was a cost I immediately deleted the app. ### 5/5 — Becoming my GO TO Bible app on Apple Ecosystem! *2026-07-29* Our consumption of Scripture is an important component of our daily walk in faith. I also can only do the KJV. **Developer response:** Hello! Thank you for your feedback. Since then, we’ve significantly improved the app. The loading issues and the problem limiting users to the KJV should now be fixed.
