My wife says her dad told her if she fell to sleep before she finished, the angles would finish it for her. It’s easy to get distracted when praying, and I find that the interspersing of Bible verses with the mysteries helps me focus more. I pray the Rosary daily, and have become very familiar with the Bible verses surrounding the mysteries—in a good way! Recently, I recommended this app to some women in a female Bible Study I joined. One told me that she loves it! One of the best things about this app? There’s no charge. Not that I wouldn’t be willing to pay a one time fee to download, but I love that I don’t have to. You provide a wonderful service to Catholics and those who wish to become more familiar with the Rosary. But the traditional Catholic bible is the Douay Rheims which is the closest translation from the original Greek and Hebrew texts. The protestants are changing all the verses with each new translation. Compare your reading of Genesis 3:15 to the DR version. You say “he (devil) shall bruise your head (woman)” but DR bible says “he (devil) shall lie in wait for your heel (of woman)”. After the “Hail Holy Queen” prayer after the fifth mystery, and after “Pray for us, o Holy Mother of God….” please add the customary concluding prayer: “O God, whose only begotten son by his life, death and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant that, by meditating upon the mysteries of the most holy rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise through the same Christ our Lord. Many of the words are full of annoying errors. It helps me focus on walking through each mystery of the Gospel with Mary. I also love the prayer to the Holy Family at the end of each decade! And the pictures help you reflect on each mystery as well! The only thing is that they don’t include the standard concluding prayer “Let us pray, oh God, whose only begotten Son..” and also the creed is differently worded than the one usually prayed Roman Catholic group Rosaries. They could also perhaps include the prayers for the pope at the end. The short scriptural reading of the relevant mystery is before each Hail Mary and the group praying is pleasantly paced and reverent. Not too fast ! There is a nicely coloured picture of each mystery synchronising with the relevant decade. I love the addition of a special prayer for aborted babies, for priests , souls in purgatory , families and marriages at each decade. The settings take some getting used to, as there is no initial menu for choosing, but it is easy to adjust to the rosary of the day with the pop up choice ( which you get by tapping on screen ) The fast forward is according to seconds rather than actual prayers or parts of the rosary..
