It has all the features and functionality perks needed for individual and self help banking. There is no place I can find to contact the developers. We have tried changing all kinds of settings, I've been on the phone w their tech support, tried uninstalling and re-installing. My iphone is old and the Touch ID no longer works because of damage, so this may be a factor. But it's still definitely a bug, because this never happened on any previous version of the app, and the phone's been damaged in this way for years. Then again I'm not sure it's related anyway, because I have since turned off any Touch ID settings on iOS and entirely deleted my fingerprint, in an attempt to fix this problem. App also closes before I'm able to change its Touch ID settings. Now I can't deposit checks from home, and I live far away from the bank, and I guess I'll just have to change banks now because of this stupid app update. ### 1/5 — Can’t copy and paste user/password *2021-11-18, version 21.2.70* I’m writing this review in hopes of bringing attention to a bug. I’ll remove this review or change the start rating after a fix. For the last month or so I haven’t been able to copy and paste my password into the home bank app from another. I’ve tested copy/pasting username as well and it doesn’t work either. I copy text from one app and paste it into the user/password field, my iPhone says “Home Bank pasted from [app]” but nothing shows up. This is particularly annoying because my password is randomly generated and it is a long string characters. I just went to enroll again today and it says, “Service Unavailable”. It constantly goes down. Every time I need to check something important it won’t let me login — “Unable to verify your information” — despite using the correct username and password. It’s always hit or miss. There’s no excuse for a financial institution to have such a terrible app. I’m done. You’ve lost a customer. I’m switching banks. ### 1/5 — HomeBank is terrible *2019-02-03, version 18.3.70* It’s by far the worst banking institution I have ever worked with they tell you they will do anything to help you, but then never do and freeze you’re account for a week when they are the ones that made the mistake. This has happened twice to me and my husband. They also transferred money from my account to a different banking institution through “bill pay” on their end when I set up automatic drafts to do so on my own and then when I disputed their transfer and they GUARANTEED me it would be taken care of credited back to my account I got a letter saying my dispute had been denied. And when I called to speak the administrative department- whom I already spoke with at the HQ branch, she was in a meeting every time I called which was for a week straight 3 times a day. We did not choose this bank we were forced to move their when they swallowed up St. Martin. I’ve already began the process to moving my money somewhere else because this is not the only incident we’ve had with them. They froze my husbands business account because they messed up a deposit again on their end and so now he has to wait a full 7 days until they “release” the funds. I work in the finance industry and this kind of action is unprofessional as well as absolutely unethical and quite possibly illegal- considering their supposed protocol, which I’m pretty sure they make up as they go along.
