Very disappointing experience. My order has been delayed multiple times, and every time I contact customer service, all I receive is an apology with no clear explanation or solution. The delivery date keeps changing, and no one can provide accurate information. I expected much better service from a well-known brand. I cannot recommend this app or shopping experience.

I signed up successfully on the website, but I’m unable to log in on the mobile app using the same credentials. Repeated login attempts failed.

I also tried signing up again on the app with the same phone number, but that failed too.

Please check the issue—seems like a sync or authentication problem between web and mobile.

Unfortunately, customer service is useless in this company, that’s why I have to write here. You pay them - and they do nothing expect for telling lies. I am expecting delivery every working day for almost 2 weeks because they promise me to delivery my goods every working day - and they don’t deliver. Nobody answers precisely. Nobody gives contacts for organising. Nothing. Very poor service

This app is almost always freezing or getting stuck. I had several times in my cart, but every time I open the app it shows that there are items in the cart, yet nothing loads and the cart doesn’t display anything just keeps loading. Because of this I can’t continue with my order. 

I even tried removed and reinstall the app, but the same issue still happens. Overall the app is extremely slow and unreliable, which makes it very frustrating and unusable.

Honestly, this was a very bad experience. The customer service is extremely poor, and the after-sales service is even worse.

Here’s what happened:

I placed an online order two weeks ago with a scheduled delivery date of 23/2. A week later, I had to travel urgently for work. I tried contacting them more than 12 times to either reschedule the delivery or move it one or two days earlier. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no response or real assistance. Every time I called, they would tell me there was “no update in the system” and ask me to call back after an hour. I actually did call back after an hour—multiple times—and still, there was “no update.”

For four consecutive days, I kept trying to reach someone who could help. When I called in the morning, they told me to call at night. When I called at night, they told me to call in the morning. No one took responsibility, and no one provided a solution.

In the end, I had to postpone my travel because of the delivery date since I couldn’t get through to anyone to reschedule it. I relied on the confirmed delivery date.

Two or three days before delivery, they sent messages stating that during Ramadan, deliveries would be between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM. Based on that information, I arranged my schedule accordingly.

Then suddenly, on the delivery day, I received a call from the driver at 4:30 PM (before Iftar in Ramadan) saying he would arrive in 30 minutes. I was completely unprepared because I had planned for an evening delivery. The installation takes about an hour, which would have been exactly at Maghrib time, and I was supposed to break my fast outside that day.

This level of disrespect for customers’ time and commitments is unacceptable. Their customer service is already very poor, but once you complete your purchase, it becomes almost impossible to reach anyone.

To make things worse, yesterday I visited the Hamra branch hoping to look at and possibly buy more items. I went upstairs and downstairs, and there were no employees available to assist customers. The staff were sitting and chatting, completely ignoring customers. I called out several times for help, and no one responded.

Honestly, Home Box is disappointing in every aspect—before sale, during sale, and especially after sale.

The delivery schedule is so bad. They won’t deliver on time and have to wait for their date and time . My product was supposed to be delivered by 3rd December and 11th December. They did not deliver and they themselves scheduled to 16th December 10am to 4pm. Even to reschedule they are going to charge you. This is ridiculous as they were not able to deliver on the said time and we have to take leave from the job to collect the products.

I placed an order over two weeks ago on the schedule delivery day. I receive a call late in the evening around 8 pm asking me to prepare the space and clear everything as their team will deliver and install the item. I was also informed that the warranty will be void if the installation was not done by their team.
Based on this call, I deposited of all my existing furniture.
The next morning I was shocked to receive another call informing me that there were enabled to deliver their order due to item on availability.

This is extremely unprofessional behaviour, shows poor planning and complete disregard for the customer time and property. Additionally, some of the item that were previously delivered are of poor quality.

I suggest do not recommend dealing with Home books, especially when it comes to after sale service.
