I'm blind and can't use the controls on the front of most machines, they're touch screen and don't talk. So I'm reliant on apps which do talk!! You've not supplied any accessibility info to Apple App Store about whether it's good with the Voiceover screenreader. Please can you give me confidence that I should spend 700 quid on a Bosch washing machine because I'm unlikely to if you can't commit to accessibility on your app page. I see back in March that someone praised the accessibility but I'd really like you guys to officially explain your access and give me confidence that the next app update will remain accessible and mean I don't have to take my clothes down to the river with soap and a washstone instead. Please? Commit? Tell Apple? xx ### 3/5 — Poor to connect. *2026-08-27, version 12.20.0* When appliance is registered but fails to connect it tells you that you can register them again on the network (if you made changes) but not how you do it. Considering the app name that’s embarrassing ### 2/5 — Hmmm *2026-08-24, version 12.20.0* Often disconnects from wifi - difficult to get to reconnect - much more trouble than other IoT things ### 2/5 — Inconvenient *2026-08-19, version 12.20.0* This seemed a decent app. However it logs me out every single time I use it. I stopped wasting my time using it. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-07-31, version 12.18.0* Machine will not connect. Even the instructions are not logical. Eg. Close the door then press the remote start button. But the button is inside the machine!Needs a proper set of instructions. Luckily, there is almost zero advantage of having the dishwasher connected to an app so I’ve given up. ### 3/5 — The user manual is no longer found. *2026-07-30, version 12.18.0* When I select User Manuals it used to offer PDF or HTML formats. Now it states “No user manuals found.” Our oven was bought 1 year ago, model B64CT73G0B/G7. Would you fix the app, please? ### 1/5 — Signed me out *2026-07-30, version 12.18.0* I'm fed up of apps that just sign you out randomly. I just want to be able to check up what's wrong with my dishwasher, it's not convenient to faff around with a login again every time. ### 4/5 — 15th update & finally fixed *2026-07-29, version 12.18.0* This is the 15th “Bugs and fixes” update for 2026 and the “Detergent drawer open” warning has finally been fixed, as promised by the support team in 2025. It’s just a shame support is so slow. ### 1/5 — Never Again *2026-07-29, version 12.18.0* I purchased this oven in September last year and have so far had 7 engineer call outs. The connection drops out after a few days and I have to constantly reconnect it. Neff says it’s a software problem but from the reviews I have read nobody else seems to have issues with connection. I was just told I would have to wait for a software update to fix the problem. 10months now and it is still not resolved. This is my 3/4th Neff oven over the past 40 years and it will be my last. In my opinion Neff should replace my oven with one that actually does what it claims to do but so far nothing has been resolved. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother x2 *2026-07-25, version 12.18.0* Terrible. Just changed internet provider, state of the art router, and this/appliance won’t connect. A total waste of time following all the multiple delete app and re-download rubbish that techies think is funny to put in instructions knowing full well it won’t work. Dreadful. The only time this app connects to the oven is when standing right next to it, otherwise the typical techie message that the problem is mine because theres no signal. Rubbish, because the house has been specifically wired up so every room is wire connected to the main router. A full wireless signal in every room….but this rubbish says there is no signal. Defeats the object of controlling the oven remotely if you have to be standing next to it. ### 1/5 — 14th update - still no fix *2026-07-21, version 12.18.0* This is the 14th “Bugs and fixes” update for 2026 and the “Detergent drawer open” warning has still not been fixed, as promised by the support team in 2025. If only a ‘bugs’ update could focus on fixing actual bugs!! Is that too much to expect? Apparently, yes. ### 1/5 — I don’t believe this is good *2026-07-18, version 12.17.0* I was disappointed to see that the Bosch dishwasher came with WiFi- a function that allows Bosch access to my home network and subsequently a risk that Bosch are gathering info on my household as has been suggested across online forums when it comes to WiFi functionality on home appliances. I have now realigned my loyalty to companies whose focus is to provide great service without adding preposterous features which sneak this technology into home devices. ### 1/5 — Code needs rewriting *2026-07-17, version 12.17.0* App constantly disconnects from appliances. Code needs reviewing and rewriting. ### 2/5 — “Icon changed” *2026-07-17, version 12.17.0* Just wondering when the app is going to stop telling me that the icon has changed every single time I open it? I got it the first time, let’s move on please! ### 1/5 — Not working *2026-07-12, version 12.17.0* Will not connect from my phone anymore for my dishwasher and won’t pair since update. Can’t use my favourite setting as not able to select manual on actual machine. Also not pairing now with Alexa 🤬 ### 3/5 — Constant Resets *2026-07-10, version 12.17.0* Appliances regularly require resets for errors and app does not interface properly ### 3/5 — Not bad *2026-07-08, version 12.17.0* I use for the EQ700 coffee machine and although the apps ok, there isn’t much use for it. You can turn the machine on and make a cup, but the machine automatically rinses itself before and after each use - so if you had a cup u set it, it would rinse in your cup and make a coffee on top. There are lots of world coffees but it’s drastically missing one main coffee for the summer, an iced latte. It makes a cold brew but it’s just horrid and there is no cold foam milk option which is very disappointing. Wish they could push some drink updates direct to the machine considering it’s WiFi connected. ### 1/5 — 13th update & still not fixed *2026-07-06, version 12.17.0* This is the 13th “Bugs and fixes” update for 2026 and the constant “Detergent drawer open” warning has still not been fixed, as promised by the support team in 2025. Apparently, yes. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fails to reconnect after a power cut *2026-08-23, version 12.20.0* We get power cuts every now and then as we live out in the country. I have probably around 100+ items including phones, tablets, computers, heating, pool connectivity, smart plugs, bulbs, Apple TVs , televisions, Alexa devices, washing machine, CCTV cameras, you get the idea all connected to my WiFi. The Bosch dishwasher is the ONLY appliance that needs to be hard reset with an unplugging to reconnect to my WiFi once it loses connection. Why? Bug fixed didn’t include this obviously. Try harder as this is rubbish. It’s 2026 not 1996. ### 1/5 — App not intuitive to use *2026-08-21, version 12.20.0* It’s almost too clever for its own good and forces you towards using the preset programs which are not necessarily what you want to use. But the most irritating thing is that to control the washing machine via the app, you need to physically select “allow remote start” on the machine after every time the machine is powered off and back on again, even though the app is WiFi connected to the machine. ### 1/5 — It almost never remembers that I have set it to smart start *2026-08-21, version 12.20.0* I have to set the timer every time I use it. Also when setting to start at a different time it then jumps in and changes to the smart start time. It’s been like this for months ### 1/5 — 16th Update but still No Fix ! *2026-08-20, version 12.20.0* This is the 16th "Bugs and fixes" update for 2026 (plus one machine firmware update) and the "Detergent Drawer Open" warning has still not been fixed, as promised by the support team in 2025. It occurs every time the machine is turned on. Lazy development team. ### 1/5 — Ruined by single key ID *2026-08-18, version 12.20.0* This was a good and useful app until it was linked to single key ID. It now doesn’t work at all now for me so will shortly be deleted. Why on earth have they tinkered with something that was a 4 or 5 star app that was working perfectly well? ### 1/5 — Ridiculously complicated *2026-08-17, version 12.20.0* The app is just so busy, fussy and makes simple programming feel impossible ### 1/5 — Very poor *2026-08-10, version 12.19.0* Looses all your information when it updates. I’ve logged in again , all my appliances are missing!!! Extremely frustrating and useless app when it does this. It should remember all appliances logged to your account ### 1/5 — Favourites *2026-08-06, version 12.19.0* It’s took a while to assign favourites but it still needs 2 button presses, often I press start and then it wants another start, and I miss it and dishwasher doesn’t turn on, one is enough. 🙏 ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2026-08-03, version 12.19.0* Great appliances, but the home connect app is hideous! Adding appliances to this app is unbelievably difficult. Try finding QR codes for your appliances and you’ll be pulling your hair out. Try to add them by serial number and you’ll want to kill yourself!! Do better!!! ### 1/5 — Worst on iOS *2026-08-03* The app is just terrible on iOS. Every time you open the app, it takes a while to connect to the dishwasher. If the app is open and connected to the dishwasher and you move to a different app even for a second, Home connect will disconnect and again take a while to connect. I use it all the time. Very convenient, especially the program assistant.
