The ability in real time to see your designs come to life, change the daytime and seasonal light, really makes the whole process incredibly smooth and proactive. If your looking for an app that will bring your ideas closer to life, then I can heartily recommend it. However, it certainly has some weaknesses that couldn’t allow me to give it 5 stars. Firstly, the ability to see measurements of structures, windows, furniture etc in topographic 2D is excellent, but it falls apart when there are no measurements visible in 3D or there is no way to measure the height of construction adjustment you make in a 2D side view. What a missed opportunity and means you are forever ‘winging it’ with visual estimations regarding the height of nearly all objects. Secondly, and extremely importantly, you can’t share information in CAD format. This is incredibly short sighted by the designers, as all builders, factories and architects will need this content. I’d be happy to pay as an additional option and or be able to send measurements in a third party file format CAD can utilise. As it stands, recipients must have the same software to see in 3D or you can only send a topographical 2D print with measurements, either option still does not solve the issue that multiple downline industries will need comprehension 3D measurements in CAD. Thirdly, despite purchasing every addition possible, the choice of garden shrubs, trees etc is extremely lacklustre to say the least. When needing to design circular, elliptical or smooth shaped land or paths the option is simply NOT available. Adding this as an option is extremely necessary, along with many more choices for greenery. Again, all resolvable with designers making a little more effort rewarded with a paywall addition. Fourthly and finally, the support team couldn’t really answer any of these issues with anything close to a competent reply, but hey, at this price point, the app is well worth your time if you’re not wanting to translate your ideas into real world results. If you are however, the app needs to adapt or I suggest you think twice. ### 2/5 — I wanted to love it … *2022-07-01* … but I didn’t. Hard to navigate on iPhone. Doesn’t have many varieties of plants to use for landscaping. Probably better if you’re just trying to figure out furniture placement or something like that. Didn’t work for me. Too bad I couldn’t tell that before I had to pay for the app. ### 2/5 — AGAIN...UPDATE YOUR APP *2022-06-11* This app has very dated ‘objects’. It has great potential, but makes it very hard to design modern landscapes when you’re limited with old, ugly, dated American objects/PLANTS (it's a garden app with such limited plants??? You can’t include any terrain because you are constructing on a flat plane and there is no way to incorporate elevation. Da ich einen Garten Planen wollte dachte ich die App hätte etwas mehr, aber im Grunde ist es die selbe App für die ich schon mal Geld bezahlt habe. Some objects like garage doors has an option to lift the door but in general it will be more useful when using shapes that all the stuff on them to actually stay on them instead of having to lift it above each one every time. Ich war kurz davor, richtig viel Geld für eine Profi-Software auszugeben. Und dann habe ich davor noch diese App auf meinem iPad ausprobiert. Ich bin begeistert! Aufgrund mangelnder Alternativen ist diese App einfach nur toll. Man bekommt eine super 3D Visualisierung geboten. Es ist ein vernünftige 3D/2D Gestaltung möglich. Die Handhabung ist einfach und selbsterklärend. Alles in allem - unschlagbar. Die App macht Spaß, die Ergebnisse sind überzeugend. Es gibt zwei Verbesserungspunkte: Es könnte mehr Pflanzen, Bäume und Blumen zur Verfügung stehen. An Gräsern zum Beispiel gibt es gar keine Objekte.
