## What is Home Ecosystems?

Home Ecosystems is a local-first control app for building and managing connected habitats, grow spaces, terrariums, vivariums, and other controlled environments.

Pair a Home Ecosystems controller, configure Wi-Fi, manage channels and sensors, add supported Shelly devices, bind Bluetooth sensors, and build automation scenes for temperature, humidity, light, misting, ventilation, and other ecosystem behavior.

The app is designed around local control first. Core setup and operation work on your local network, with optional cloud-connected features planned for monitoring, history, and account-linked workflows.

Key features:

- Onboard Home Ecosystems controllers
- Configure Wi-Fi, access point, device settings, and local API access
- Control internal and external channels
- Add supported Shelly plugs, lights, and sensors
- Bind Bluetooth temperature and humidity sensors
- Create scenes with safety limits and sensor-driven behavior
- Configure ecosystem profiles with weather-aware targets
- Perform local firmware updates over your network
- Use the app without requiring cloud access for core local control
