## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Nothing apples

*2025-09-18, version 5.0*

I studied for 3 months straight and getting 90% or better on every mock exam. I memorized the understanding of these questions and the questions themselves. None of this is on the actual exam. I scored a 319 on the real exam while getting 90% plus on these exams. Nothing applied

### 2/5 — Good and bad

*2026-02-01, version 7.0*

Some of the stuff on here doesn’t apply to home inspection like energy audits or exploration on why problems are happening. There is one question on here where you would have to be an electrician to know how to fix it and that’s not a home inspectors job. There’s also questions that ask about code directly.

### 3/5 — Incorrect.

*2024-07-08, version 2.0*

I feel that this app is very useful and have been using this app regularly to study for the NHIE. This app was recommended to me by my instructor at AHIT. The problem that I have is that sometimes I don’t know if I got the answer right or wrong. I will click on the answer, and it will appear incorrect. Then when I click on the explanation, it will explain that my answer was the correct one. This is very unhelpful when I am trying to learn. As a student I depend on the provided study material to be accurate above all else.

### 3/5 — Solid basic app held back by the questions

*2024-02-26, version 1.0*

Like it says… the basic app is solid. Nicely tracks correct and incorrect answers so you can easily go brush up on things you miss. Some other really useful features including tracking subject areas in need of improvement. Problem is the practice questions themselves. Roughly 2%-3% of the practice questions are written in such a way that the only correct answer is counted as incorrect. Others have questions that don’t match answers. The final problem is the small number of practice questions that seem to be included. I very quickly started getting repetitive questions. For $18/mo I feel like it falls short.

### 4/5 — Pretty Good

*2024-10-07, version 3.0*

This prep seems pretty good after about a month of study. My only gripes are that I have come across two example questions that I am 100% sure are incorrect, so be leery; also, I wish I could make the app/font size bigger for when using on devices other than a phone.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-07-08, version 5.0*

Excellent app. I am new to the home inspection area. This app provides a detail explanation of why the answer is correct or wrong.
Highly recommend
