## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8.23 — 2026-10-24

New: optional price field and an "already bought" option when adding an item, so a quick purchase can be logged in one step. You can now also give each income entry in Budget its own name instead of just "Income 1", "Income 2". Plus a fix for prices sometimes being asked twice when un-marking and re-marking an item bought.

### 1.8.20 — 2026-10-21

New: an optional "See ad" button next to the household switcher on Shopping Lists and Budget. Tap it anytime to watch a short ad and help support Home Needs App's running costs. Completely optional, nothing changes if you don't use it.

### 1.8.18 — 2026-10-15

Budget categories now show a few at a time, swipeable.
Reorder, rename, or delete them from Settings > Manage Categories.
Redesigned category cards: spending progress shown on the card, tap for expense history, edit planned amount via a pencil icon.
Expense history now shows planned amount too.
Monthly income section redesigned to match.

### 1.8.15 — 2026-10-13

Add photos to budget expenses, get notifications in your language with smarter navigation, and preview photos before saving. Plus sharper barcode scans and bug fixes.

### 1.8.13 — 2026-10-12

You can now attach a photo to any logged budget expense — snap a receipt or any proof of purchase right when you log it. Also adds a quick way to add an expense directly from a category's history, a running total, and smoother saving with a loading indicator.
