If you can get through to tech support they simply tell you to “use the app”, which doesn’t work. I’ve spent 4 weeks trying just to get Bluetooth to connect to my phone but nothing. I’m not changing my router settings just to get a supposed Bluetooth device to pair. Very poor design. ### 1/5 — Awful *2023-09-18, version 2.9.11928* Out of about 13 devices I have in my smart home this is the only one that stops working every 2 weeks. Alexa can't turn in the fan until I restart the entire system and reset it. Trash ### 1/5 — Just not worth it *2023-04-28, version 2.9.11928* If I could give this zero stars I would. The fan and light worked well for a few months then would randomly disconnect/lose connection. There were times in which the wall switch did not control the device. The trick for me was to factory reset each time. That seemed to solve the issue then back to square one. This very last time, factory reset did not work. I did my own troubleshooting, followed the set up process as shown in the app and finally utilized the tips found in the FAQ. After spending only God’s knows how many hours which no resolution, I submitted a ticket in the app. I received an automatic reply with the same steps as the tips in the FAQ. I contacted customer service and got no where. Someone finally called back when my hands were tied and I’ve been calling since with no answer. Apparently they are experiencing higher than normal call volumes. Go figure….I wish I read the reviews before purchasing this device. I caution you to not waste your money. I don’t always want to speak to turn on/off the light and fan or to time the lights. I should be able to use the manual switches for it but now it doesn’t work at all. Now I have to disconnect from Alexa just to use the manual switches again. Useless!! ### 1/5 — Won’t connect *2025-08-03, version 2.9.11928* Used the app to attempt to connect the fan to wifi. The app finds the fan and when I click the “setup this device” button, the indicator spins and then nothing happens. It doesn’t set up the fan. It doesn’t troubleshoot. Just NOTHING. Bath fan, thought it would be a fun thing, but now I listen to it all the time in the shower. It is very stable in general, and there has been no drop in connection. just that sometimes when I wake up n the morning the phone audio gets connected to the fan by itself. Another small annoyance is sometimes Alexa doesn’t want to listen but that’s a Amazon problem as it happens with their devices sometimes.
