As the developer talked about syncing on different devices I was very disappointed. I would not have bought this one had I realised, I would have bought the iPhone version instead. A couple things to improve: need option to set timer for other durations than 15 min, copy and paste would be nice for copying select tasks from one routine to add to another. Breaking it down in to bite sized bits is so much easier. This app has changed my life. I feel more in control and a hell of a lot happier. The to do list is particularly useful. I have done a brain dump of everything I could think of. Whilst tackling one area, I find a multitude of other things that I haven't got round to, e.g. sorting through paperwork. As soon as I think of a one off task that needs doing I add it here, then I can continue with the original task, knowing that the other task is saved on the app for another day when I have more time. Basically I can concentrate on one task at a time and do it well. ### 5/5 — Love this app! *2013-01-01, version 2.0.5* Very useful app for scheduling chores. I tried a few others before this one and they don't come close to this app. I love how simple and easy it is to use. It allows you to customise your lists so you can use it for whatever you want, I have even included my gym workouts. I had some problems synching, but customer service helped me nearly completely resolve the issue. I have for both the ipad and iPhone. I would happily purchase it again. I usually only download for apps but took a chance on this and am so glad I did. As much as I love this app, though, I keep looking for something else that does what HomeRoutines does except has an integrated calendar. Please HomeRoutines, add a calendar. I am about to start using it for household chores with the Flylady zones, but wish that there were a way to sync across users (i.e., family members) for selected routines. I bought this app due to good reviews and wanting something to keep my house in shape. This is not it. If you do your laundry every Tuesday, you can't add that, if you want to make sure you do something tomorrow, you can't go to tomorrow and add it or any other day for that matter. The only day you can make a to do list for is today :(. I want my $4 back! I only gave 1 star because it would not let me give it zero. ### 1/5 — Missing key features *2011-10-17, version 2.0.2* I really really wish this app had a calendar and also a feature to organize tasks that are to be competed on a biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semi annually, and yearly basis for things like washing the bedding, shampooing carpets, checking fire detectors. That is what I was really looking for so in I am feeling a bit cheated as that is something that should be expected from a housekeeping app that costs $4. If it had those options it would be 5 stars. ### 1/5 — not worth the price.... *2011-06-15* Where do I begin? This is a neat concept but the pros end there. The negatives: you have to buy the ipad and the ipod/iphone versions separately even though they are the exact same app (unlike most other apps where the ipad version does something above and beyond the iphone version Or most other vendors sell it as a universal app-no Wunderbear does not do that.) In addition, the two apps, though identical, do not sync with one another, another bummer. But in the defense of the vendor, they never claim that it will. It just seems logical that it would. Lastly, you can get Cozi Family Organizer for FREE which will do the same thing- only more, and syncs among all your devices, including web and computer. Not impressed. ### 1/5 — Want to love it *2011-05-28, version 1.8.2* Just sat for two hours with my husband customizing and assigning ALL our family routines-kids and adults-only to close the app and come back to it to find it back on the default settings....my husband was having problems with his iPod version saving added routines and I thought he just wasn't saving them properly...not him--this has some serious bugs...seems too good to be true. ### 1/5 — Home routines *2011-05-28, version 1.8.2* Really upset paid for this app and was only iPhone version. I want to add washing and ironing to Tuesdays. I can't scroll through the days and add something in on a day I want to complete the task. Amended recently to reflect life changes and it was so easy to use. I have all my routines and checklist for every part of my life exactly how I wan't them. I've not seen this flexibility with any others organisation app. Sync perfectly too. That will help me tackle any zones that are almost done before I clear all my stars! ### 5/5 — Still using after a year *2013-04-10, version 2.5.2* I have always been very unmotivated to clean my house, so I need all the help that I can get. This app does just that. It's a nice sense of accomplishment to be able to check off each task. The quick and easy customization is a huge bonus.
