I tried to email the developer and no response. Requested a refund. **Developer response:** I’m so sorry this happened. I can’t recreate the problem here but I’m very keen to get to the bottom of it. If you’d still like to try the app then please drop me a line on hometide@protonmail.com and I’ll send you a code to reinstall the app for free. Please include the name of the location you’re tapping on so I can keep investigating. Hopefully the latest version will fix the crash and if not perhaps we could work together to get to the bottom of it. Once again I’m sorry for the trouble. All the best, Paul ### 2/5 — No river tides *2023-07-10* Only coastal tide stations are shown, not river tides. No use for paddling on the Thames. **Developer response:** Hi, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Although there are some river locations in the app, you’re right - the majority are coastal and the only one on the Thames is Sheerness - right on the coast. Unfortunately I don’t control which locations have tide data, but now you’ve highlighted this I’m going to add a list of locations to the App Store page, to hopefully avoid this kind of issue happening again. I’m sorry Home Tide wasn’t what you were looking for. All the best, Paul ### 3/5 — No height of tide on the widget *2024-05-28* Disappointed to see that the widget only displays a graph and the numerical height of tide is not displayed. Also having trouble putting the widget on my Lock Screen. **Developer response:** Hi, Sorry to hear you’re having trouble adding the widget to the Lock Screen. Adding the current tide height to the Home Screen widget is an idea I’ve experimented with. The challenge is to do it in a way that doesn’t make the widget too cramped. All the best, Paul ### 5/5 — Great App but… *2024-08-21* Really well put together app. It’s very neat and organised and it works great. I like how clean it is and the gradient for the daylight is very useful and super cool. However, I wish you could add an offset or something by an hour or so. For example, I live 15 minutes down the road from my nearest tide point. But the tide is like an hour behind. I live in a coastal loch. On Navionics I can see the tide for where I live because of this. So it would be good to add an offset of a couple of hours so you can create an exact time for your shore. Other than that - brilliant! ### 5/5 — Good, simple and clean *2024-02-21* App does exactly as described. Happy with my widget that displays the tides. I like how you can customise the lock screen widget colour. I would like to be able to see the tide height on the widget but this could be an update for the future. Doesn’t seem to work with the new update, it’s only 99p so 5stars from me. Please make the simple coding to make it work with IOS16 **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! A new version just went live on the App Store, which works much better with iOS 16.
