## What is HomeBrain?

HomeBrain helps you remember the practical details of your home: appliances, systems, rooms, maintenance tasks, notes, warranties, receipts, manuals, and important files.

Core features:

- Save home items, rooms, notes, maintenance tasks, and Vault attachments.
- Schedule local maintenance and warranty reminders.
- Search saved home records and export local data as JSON.
- Protect the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode.
- Use the app in supported App Store languages, including Ukrainian. Russian is not included.

HomeBrain Pro unlocks optional remote AI:

- Smart capture from photos, PDFs, receipts, warranty documents, labels, and manuals.
- AI draft review that turns messy notes into structured home records.
- Ask AI with citations from your saved home records.
- Risk Radar and Home Handoff briefs for maintenance and warranty awareness.

Privacy-first design:

- Core home records are stored locally on the device.
- Remote AI is optional, Pro-gated, and can fall back to local deterministic logic.
- AI requests are limited for fair use and cost control.
- The OpenAI API key is stored only on the protected backend, never inside the iOS app.
