Customer Service somewhat lacking. The interface from what I can see is poor. Asked for a refund but nothing happened as yet. Some simply do not load (on a new iPad) The advice you will receive is to “re-install your purchases.” It did not work and despite requests I heard nothing further. I also bought a year’s subscription and did not get access to that year’s magazines. When I queried it I was told to - guess what? “reinstall my purchases.” Again this did not fix the problem. Customer Service apparently is ONLY for the printed version. If you want to read it on your iPad you will have no customer service. I live in Dubai, so the iPad version seemed just the ticket. I was really impressed with the high quality, initiative nature of the app. I particularly love the 10 of the Best and the easy links to related web sites. Don't normally provide feedback, but I was so pleased with the app I simply wanted to share the goodness... Well worth a look if you're interesting in self building and or restoration... Try it, you'll buy it! ### 5/5 — Great iPad mag... *2012-01-19* I've always had a dream of building my own house but know nothing about it save from watching Grand Designs on Ch4. I had a look at different self build mags but this was by far and away the best one. Not only that, after taking out a subscription I wrote to the editor for some advice and got the most comprehensive reply ever - great customer service and brilliant magazine. It's a great mag to start with and the iPad version is a superb way to read it. It's not just a page turner. You don't have to keep zooming in and out.
