## What is HomeButtons for HomeKit?

HomeButtons makes it quick & easy to toggle all of your HomeKit accessories & scenes.

Whilst the built-in Home app provides this functionality, HomeButtons was designed to make it much quicker to quickly activate a scene or toggle an accessory’s state. It is fully configurable so you only see your most used accessories & scenes.


HomeButtons contains these great features:

ACCESSORIES

Add the accessories you use most to enable you to quickly toggle lights on & off, shutters opened & closed and more. As long as the accessory has a toggle-type mechanism, it is supported by HomeButtons. Accessories you add are split by room and sorted alphabetically so they are easy to find.


SCENES

Set the scene with your most frequently used scenes. No more trying to guess where in the grid you can find your scene, the scenes you add are all sorted alphabetically.


WIDGETS

Control your accessories & scenes from the Home Screen, Lock Screen or Control Center with support for widgets. Widgets are interactive and support the same quick selection methods as the main app to control your home.


APPLE WATCH

The HomeButtons app for Apple Watch makes it super quick & easy to control your accessories and set the scene from your wrist. It’s quick to update and is fully configurable too.


CARPLAY

Open doors, turn on lights or set a scene when arriving home with the HomeButtons for CarPlay app. Set accessories & scenes in Settings > CarPlay on your iPhone.


ICLOUD SYNC

Added accessories & scenes sync over iCloud so you can access them from your other Apple devices.


UNIVERSAL PURCHASE

The performance of this app on the iPhone and Apple Watch is excellent. Now it can be added to CarPlay, OUTSTANDING!! It works seamlessly. As a plus, the developer, Adam, is responsive to comments and future capabilities.

Once again Adam has come up with a fabulous idea - being able to use Home commands from the car will be really useful. I’d be surprised if this (and TV Launcher) doesn’t get Sherlocked pretty soon!

aber ich kann den Sinn der App nicht nachvollziehen. Sollte das irgendwann einmal der Fall sein und ich die App brauchen, wäre ich auch bereit, dafür einen angemessenen Betrag zu zahlen. Ganz gewiss werde ich nicht bei der Unsitte mitmachen, ein Abo zu buchen, wenn es keinen wirklichen Mehrwert bietet. Irgendwann überschreiten dann die Kosten für Abos mein Budget oder sogar mein Einkommen. Denke einmal darüber nach, lieber Entwickler.

Quite nice, but I can't understand the point of the app. Should that be the case at some point and I need the app, I would be prepared to pay a reasonable amount for it. I certainly won't take part in the bad habit of booking a subscription if it doesn't offer any real added value. At some point, the cost of subscriptions will exceed my budget or even my income. Think about it, dear developer.
