### 3/5 — Cannot leave a comment on a reading

*2024-05-21*

When I click on a reading it gives me the option to leave a comment, but when I click in the box and my keyboard appears I cannot access the ‘Submit’ button to actually save my comment.

### 2/5 — Worst medical recording.

*2023-10-25*

Totally inconsistent with keeping records. Entire weeks suddenly disappear.
Monitor works well, but app is horrible. Undependable.
Should sync with Apple- I’m unable to get to transfer.
Won’t bother sending information to my Dr.

### 2/5 — Won’t Sync After Latest IPhone Security Update

*2023-05-07*

I have used the BPA-960BT model for about a year with a few hiccups here and there. However, after an IPhone security update last week, the monitor will no longer sync with my phone. I tried everything, including removing and reinstalling the app - no luck. In addition, there seems to be no way to communicate this issue back to Homedicts. So, I’m stuck having to manually enter readings or writing them down which defeats the purpose of this purchase. I will have to switch to a different brand if no fix or update is provided by Homedics.

### 2/5 — Easy to use but occasional error forced wrong data import

*2023-03-29*

App is simple and easy to use. However the device occasional strange errors of readings and also dates of measurement to the future date are forced to imported automatically to this app and then they cannot get deleted due to FDA regulations or whatever according to app FAQ. It does have a step to select whether to import the reading or not but at the time of errors those manual steps do not appear and the app freezes and then the wrong readings are imported then deletion becomes impossible.

In any case this is terrible and hope the app and device can have a normal behavior constantly. Omron app is much reliable and consistent so far and this app is problematic.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to share your experience! We're sorry to hear you are having issues with the data import. We hear your feedback and are working to track defects and release updates. After making sure you're iOS firmware is update and Bluetooth permissions our enabled, you might have some luck deleting the app and reinstalling it to see if that resolves your issue with the readings import.

### 3/5 — Scant graphics

*2022-04-03, version 3.1.2*

I have used the app for a short week now. In general it seems to work after some BT connection issues. But why, oh why, are there only 8 data points displayed in the graph? Why is there not a way to view a week’s worth of data, or a month’s? No option to export graphics either. The data is all there-so why can’t HoMedics provide better graphic mapping of the data? It is bare bones functional.

### 1/5 — Update made it incompatible.

*2021-12-08, version 3.0.1*

I have an older BP monitor that worked great with this app. Then the update intentionally made it incompatible. I guess to force me to buy a new BP monitor. Ain’t gonna do it…jerks.

### 1/5 — What happened???

*2021-10-31, version 3.0.0*

I had this app and now I can’t connect to my monitor (BPW-360BTPU) with Bluetooth. It worked just fine until this update. I can’t find my model and it tells me I need to download a different app but doesn’t say what app that is! Not happy with this change! 😠

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2021-10-26, version 3.0.0*

With this recent update I lost a year of very important data. And now my unit will not sync with the app forcing me to enter everything manually. Then in top of that I just noticed that the 7 day average no longer works. My entries for the past 2 days do not show up in the seven day average. They only show up when selecting all dates, which doesn’t provide an average (which I need). Oh…and the data is not updating on my Apple Health app as I’m the past. Hopefully these are just minor bugs that will be fixed… soon !!

### 1/5 — Horrible upgrade

*2021-10-21, version 3.0.0*

I’ve been using the preupdated app for 5 years taking my BP everyday using a HoMedics Bluetooth Arm cuff unit. Then boom they updated and removed support for my BP unit. This app only supports two units a arm and a wrist unit that I have yet to find much less purchase. Why produce a app, leaving hundreds stranded and not offer an alternative for tracking? Maybe put a link in the app pointing to where you can buy a supported unit.

At this point I feel like anything HoMedics produces will eventually leave you out in the cold, this is almost as bad as Ransonware!

### 1/5 — HoMedics Upgrade App wiped out all my data

*2021-10-16, version 3.0.0*

Very upset with this upgrade Homedics 3.0. It didn’t ask me to upgrade. It did it automatically and doesn’t work with my wrist BP reader. then it won’t let me continue to install because it no longer works with my BP reader AND to boot IT WIPED OUT ALL MY DATA from approx 5 yrs. Didn’t even give me a chance to add last weeks data to a spreadsheet for my doc.

Th3 email your data function has NEVER worked so that is why I had to create an excel spreadsheet and manually type in my readings.

Granted I may have to purchase another reader in the future and may look into another brand but I will continue use to use the one I have and just write my readings from here on out.

Unhappy

### 1/5 — Daily problems with the app

*2018-06-10, version 2.4.3.2*

It has a hard time syncing, it then changes the date for when the reading was taken. I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling

### 1/5 — Does not work mist of the time

*2018-05-01, version 2.4.3.2*

Such useless app. Six months since the iPhone x is out and the app has still not been updated. Only reason I got this device was the app integration. I wish I could return this blood pressure device.

### 3/5 — Mostly adequate

*2018-04-11, version 2.4.3.2*

Before you even start using this app, you have to sign up for an intrusive Microsoft account. First the app takes a long time to start up, and then it requires tapping a button to confirm that you are you. When you are finished, it synchs and then takes a long time to process the data, then automatically closes before you can read the data. When you open it again, you have to once again wait for a while, and then tap the button to confirm that you are you. Only then do you get to see the results. Oh, and if your phone is set to lock after five minutes, you have to keep touching it now and then during the blood-pressure-test waiting times, to keep it from going away. All in all, not particularly user-friendly.

### 2/5 — No longer syncs

*2018-02-09, version 2.4.3.2*

When I first bought my monitor, my iPhone synced perfectly fine. Now that I have a new iPhone it no longer syncs through Bluetooth. I have to manually enter data. Not sure if it’s the app or the monitor but it’s no longer user-friendly.

### 1/5 — Not working great but my B/P in 2021 is great!

*2018-02-02, version 2.4.3.2*

Going to try to reinstall one more time. Wiped B/P units memory again. Hopefully will record B/P’s at right year, not past, not future for longer than a week.

When you spend time confirming all dates/times are accurate and ready then take your B/P half the time finding it logged wrong then what is the point?

### 1/5 — Wish I Knew...*update*

*2017-06-13, version 2.4.3.2*

Wish I knew how bad this app worked before I purchased this model. It is far from user friendly and has several design flaws and integration protocols. I'm using a 6s and still have trouble. Devs, contact me and I can show you all the problems.

I still have trouble syncing the BP machine with the app. It say "done"on the machine and quickly looks like it did on the app but no numbers at all. This is a poor quality product that really needs a someone to break it down and start over. Devs, listen to the feedback.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t Sync To iPhone

*2024-06-07*

App synced to my iPhone 8 running OS 16.7.8 initially upon install and transferred the first blood pressure reading from the monitor to the phone successfully. However it was a one-off and every subsequent attempt to connect and sync fails with an error message reporting the app can’t find/detect the bp monitor.

I opted to manually enter a reading and encountered a horrible UI design that makes it impossible to scroll down to the “Save” button to finalize the data entry. This proved to be a non-viable option.

The monitoring wrist cuff device works well but this companion app is worthless and non-functional. It seems like an after thought that was not considered to be an integral part of the entire user experience as it delivers frustration, not usefulness.

### 1/5 — The App just won’t work

*2023-06-12*

I’ve been trying to get this app to sync with Bluetooth for 2 weeks now and just no luck. Seems like it can’t find the phone, maybe once in a while it will attempt to sync but fails and takes me to the troubleshooting page which does nothing but advise to be sure your device is turned on and in range. Really, I should be sure Bluetooth is turned on? Wow, never occurred to me!

Trying to input a manual setting is also difficult as I can never get the app to accept the confirmed date and time of the reading, always having to set the time 1 minute ahead of actual time to get accepted. The app is a joke

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2023-06-06*

Monitor works ok, app is poorly written, not updated regularly, connectivity issues galore. Best answer from their customer service line is keep your auto updates on and it’ll get fixed. They blame it on iOS updates, which is an excuse. Do better research on a device and app that actually work together seamlessly.

### 1/5 — No longer syncing due to IOS UPDATE.

*2023-03-30*

No longer syncing due to IOS UPDATE. iPhone will no longer sync with Bluetooth device after iOS update - March 29, 2023

After this IOS update, iPhone will no longer sync with HoMedics Bluetooth device

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We're sorry to hear you experienced issues with the app syncing after the iOS update. You may want to try restarting your devices, and double checking your Bluetooth permissions are all enabled for the Homedics Health app. We hear your feedback and are working to track defects and release updates.

### 1/5 — Don’t work with my blood pressure monitor anymore.

*2022-04-05, version 3.1.2*

Monitor would sync with old version of homedics. But when it upgraded automatically I lost all my data and would not sync. Model: wgnbpa-755bt not listed.

### 1/5 — Older model

*2022-02-26, version 3.1.1*

I have an older model machine that used to work with this app and no longer does. I should not have to buy a new machine to use an app.

### 1/5 — Can’t pair BPW370-BT unit

*2022-01-07, version 3.1.1*

Why only 4 unit options? Why aren’t older units supported? No options for older apps. My newly opened product is now useless with Bluetooth.

### 1/5 — What happened to my data!

*2021-12-26, version 3.0.1*

Just like other users with this latest update my model BPA-755BT monitor data has all been lost and will not connect to the app any longer. What the heck

### 1/5 — Dows bot work with my BP reader anymore!

*2021-12-17, version 3.0.1*

So you upgrade the app to work with the new BP models and the rest of us with older models are screwed? Way to value your customers! I'll have to buy a new one, but it won't be your brand!

### 1/5 — I can no longer use the app👎🏽

*2021-12-17, version 3.0.1*

Prior to this new update I was able to sync my HoMedics BPW-360BT to the app. The app now only has two options to choose from. Please correct this because I shouldn’t have to replace my device to continue using this app. Thank you!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Flawless!🤓

*2023-06-07*

Great, have been using for more years than I can remember.

### 5/5 — User friendly

*2023-03-22*

Easy to operate and very useful

**Developer response:** Thanks for leaving a review, and glad you're happy with our blood pressure app!

### 5/5 — Very satisfied

*2022-03-26, version 3.1.2*

Very satisfied with our choice. The product works better than expected

### 5/5 — Love this App!

*2014-09-24, version 2.2.1*

I've used this app for over a year and find it to be very helpful. The convenience of opening the app and sharing with my dr saves me writing everything down. The only issue I have is each time Apple updates the iOS, I cannot get it to sync until the app is updated. Please update within a reasonable time after iOS updates. Thank you :-)

### 5/5 — Latest up-date iPhone

*2014-06-14, version 2.1.2*

Really enjoy this app and Blood Pressure Wrist Cuff. With its recent app up-grade the Bluetooth stopped working. Found the solution by accident. Go to profile page and select the type of cuff you have. For mine BPW-360BT, then press the Start/Stop button until the sync starts. Now it works well now.

### 4/5 — Good tool

*2023-04-08*

Seems to work as expected.

### 4/5 — Inability to Send E-Mail

*2017-03-07, version 2.4.3.2*

Love the features but wish the e-mail function worked

### 4/5 — Sync Not Wotking

*2016-08-05, version 2.4.1*

App will again sync after the latest release. However, it takes several minutes for the sync to complete while the "reading sync" message displays. At least the app shows a "be patient" message to let you know it's working. The "Results Summary" screen needs to indicate the period of time the display is for.

### 4/5 — Working now! Thanks!

*2016-08-04, version 2.4.1*

Worked for a while. Now it syncs but I can't press the done button to go to the graph because the page is to big! Can't enter manually either. Bluetooth is useless at this point.

### 4/5 — Messed up...now fixed

*2016-08-03, version 2.4.1*

This app was working well until a few days ago. Now it's a piece of junk. It will not allow you to bring in the data from the device. Whoever screwed this up needs to get it fixed quickly, is anyone listening?...Finally did listen. Response was slow but effective. You guys definitely need a better testing procedure before a release. Thanks for the fix.
