## What is Homefound?

Homefound is a community powered relief pool for Southern California.

Your gift joins one shared pool, not a list of individual crowdfunding campaigns. Screened community advocates already working with neighbors deploy funds to real emergencies on the ground: meals, deposits, boots, emergency care, and other immediate material needs. Verified licensed caseworkers are a goal we are building toward for more complex relief.

Cash never changes hands on the street. Every allocation can appear in a public transparency feed so you see who moved the money, for what category, and for which neighbor (first name only). You track impact without turning people in crisis into public fundraising pages.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Contribute to the So-Cal Community Pool
• Follow transparent allocations and categorical impact
• Support privacy safe relief designed around neighbors, not spectacle

WHY HOMEFOUND IS DIFFERENT
• One community pool instead of competing campaigns
• Screened local advocates allocate for immediate needs today
• Path toward verified caseworkers with credential checks when that path goes live
• Coded in Southern California by Jin Woo with zero corporate overhead
• Working toward 501(c)(3) so future gifts can become tax deductible once registered

Homefound is a community powered fund, not a venture backed startup pitch. Pool gifts today help fund relief on the ground, the transparency systems donors rely on, and the server and legal setup that keep the project honest. They are not tax deductible until Homefound is a registered nonprofit.

Fund the community. Track the impact.
