### 5/5 — Giving that shows you where it goes

*2026-10-05*

Most donation platforms ask you to trust them. Homefound lets you see for yourself. Contributions go directly toward long-term goals like housing and recovery programs, so your gift is tied to a real outcome rather than disappearing into a general fund. Homefound also says it will never take a mandatory percentage of your donation as a platform fee, which is rare and worth noting.

Bottom line: Transparent, direct, and respectful of both donors and the people being helped. Highly recommend.
