I downloaded the app, follow the instructions, tried eight times to find a store near me and all that continued to happen was that I was brought to a map of the world. 8 TIMES! Biggest plus is the rewards are delivered straight to your phone within 48 hours of earning them. The fact that you can pay your bill right from the app makes it brilliant. Vernon Rd in Dunwoody, Ga. I would definitely like to commend the management staff. The store has taken a 360 degree turn. It was well organized, shopping friendly, service is great and Ray, Amber and Avi are outstanding. I always enjoy my shopping experience when I’m in this store. The table and chairs ended up being too large to fit into my car and required the table to be broken down. Without hesitation, Virginia went above and beyond to help me fit the chairs into my car and later the table when I returned. Without Virginia and Tim’s help I wouldn’t have been able to do it! I’d like to clarify some of the issues that people seem to have with the app, shed some light on what the app is actually for, and what it is not for. HomeGoods stores never know what they’re getting on their trucks. At all. We don’t know if we’re getting a truck loaded with furniture and kitchen items, or if we’re getting a bunch of wall art, pillows, bedding, etc. The store, the managers, and the employees have zero idea of what is in the trucks until they open it up and start unloading it. Because of this, there is no way to inventory the store and accurately update the app with what items/how much of the items are in stock at any given location. What you’re looking at is a feed a photos and descriptions posted by store employees (generally three items per day) of things in the store on that particular day. That’s it. HomeGoods is not like any other retailer—we do not get certain items in, we do not order items when they’re gone, there are no shelf tags because we get in new and different things literally every truck. There is no consistency. There is no way to keep track. We almost never get the same things in week to week, month to month, or year to year. It’s always different. Always. Shop at HomeGoods for the experience of finding the “perfect piece” randomly—if you want to search for a particular item, get an app from a regular department store that operates in a way that you’re used to. HomeGoods isn’t the store/app for that. ### 5/5 — HomeGoods Store in Christiansburg, VA *2019-04-17, version 5.2.5* I used to live in Massachusetts and we had lots of stores there. When I moved back to Va there were no stores here! Then they started opening stores and I finally got to go to our HomeGoods in Christiansburg! I got mirrors, rugs and washcloths!
