## What is HomeHubBase?

Every task is its own thread.

HomeHubBase is a shared space for the handful of people who actually run a household. Instead of a to-do list in one app and the conversation about it scattered across a group chat, every task here carries its own thread - so "did you book the plumber?" lives inside "book the plumber", and it is still there next month.

WHAT IS INSIDE

- Projects, tasks and threads. Group work into projects, and open any task to find the whole conversation about it.
- Sub-steps. Break a task into a checklist without turning it into five tasks.
- Shared lists. Every project gets a list you both edit live - a grocery run, a packing list, a chore chart - with columns you choose.
- Photos in context. Take a photo straight into a thread, so the picture of the broken faucet sits with the task about the faucet.
- Receipt scanning. Point the camera at a receipt and the vendor, total and date are read on your device. Put a budget on a task and watch the spend against it.
- A calendar. Everything with a due date, in one month view.
- Auto-filed links. Paste a link into a thread and it is saved to the project.
- Reactions. Tapback a message instead of replying "ok".
- Notifications you control. Separate switches for messages, new tasks, assignments and list changes.

BUILT FOR THE DEVICES YOU ALREADY HAVE

iPhone and iPad, plus a web client for the desktop - same account, same household. On iPad the layout opens out into three panes.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Your household is invite-only, and joining takes a code from someone already in it. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Receipt text is read on your own device and never sent to an outside service.
