## What is Homelab Service Monitor?

Keep an eye on every service in your homelab.

Homelab Service Monitor connects directly to your self-hosted services and cloud APIs, shows you live status and key metrics, and alerts you the moment something goes offline.

MONITORING
HTTP, HTTPS, and TCP health checks with live latency
Live metrics pulled from each service's own API
Latency sparkline and 30-check history per service
Uptime percentage over 24h, 7 days, and 30 days
Full status event log across all services

30 BUILT-IN INTEGRATIONS
Home Assistant, AdGuard Home, Grafana, Portainer, Jellyfin, Plex, Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr, Overseerr, Proxmox, TrueNAS, UGREEN NAS, Traefik, Unifi Controller, Pi-hole, Nextcloud, Vaultwarden, Immich, Paperless-ngx, Frigate, ntfy, qBittorrent, OpenWrt, Glances, Nginx Proxy Manager, and more.

CLOUD API MONITORING
Monitor GitHub (repo stats, Actions CI, rate limits), Anthropic Claude, and GitHub Copilot, no host or port needed, just an API key.

ALERTS
Offline and recovery notifications per service
Per-metric alert rules: trigger when a value crosses a threshold, changes, or enters an alert state
Scheduled summary notifications bundling the latest metrics from your chosen services

WIDGETS
Overview, per-service, and multi-service monitor widgets in small, medium, large, and lock screen sizes. All update automatically when the app refreshes.

SMART NETWORK HANDLING
Local services are automatically paused when you leave your home network — no location permission required.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-19

This update adds Axis Camera Station Pro service and resource monitoring, If you have a service you would like me to add, let me know.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-06

This update focuses on reliability and organization:

• Fixed services occasionally showing as "Degraded" or "Offline" due to brief network hiccups - status now waits for a few consecutive failed checks before changing, so momentary blips no longer cause false alarms.
• Fixed an iCloud sync issue where a deleted service could reappear on your other devices.
• Service groups can now be collapsed and expanded with a tap - collapsed groups show a compact online/degraded/offline summary.
• GitHub services now track release download counts (total and latest release).

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-09

Your configuration now syncs automatically across all your devices via iCloud: services, metric alert rules, notification schedules, and app settings - including group and metric ordering. A new iCloud Sync toggle in Settings lets you turn this off entirely if you'd rather keep things device-local.

Also in this release:
• Fixed false "offline" push notifications that could fire for services newly synced to a device before its first real check completed
• Request timeouts above 5 seconds are now actually honored
• "Retries Before Offline" is now respected during auto-refresh, not just manual checks
• Reduced unnecessary disk writes and iCloud traffic
• Exported service files no longer include credentials - those stay in Keychain

### 1.0.2 — 2026-05-18

No release notes.
