Except the tips stop working, I have nearly 50 I can’t access, and the algorithm seems messed up. It can be almost comical - everything you buy tanks. And virtually everything by the end is worthless. It’s not overly complicated (thank you), you have to think just enough, which makes it interesting, but it’s mostly relaxing and easy to play. Some thoughts, and then one suggestion: 1) Thank you for making this a premium game for a very fair price with no ads or IAP promo pop-ups (I won’t play games where ads of any kind pop up). I like that you made the IAP here optional and available without bugging the player about them. 2) I love that it saves progress at all times, and is good on battery and storage. This game is perfect for playing here and there when you have a few minutes. 3) My only suggestion is this: the font of the value line in each stock (the bottom line on each stock) is way, way too small. I’m glad you made the color palette light on this game, because at least the text can be seen (barely) on the white background. But there’s room to make the font bigger. Please don’t ever change the design to dark mode because then the small text would be impossible to see. I’m fact, I tried another game of yours, but the small text on a dark background made it so impossible to see that I deleted the app. Because the colors on this game are light, I can play, but I really suggest making the tiny fonts bigger or bolder or something. The overall design is great, but if a player has to strain to read something they may give up. I find myself playing this only if I feel like squinting a bit. Which isn’t the best user experience even though the game itself is really good. Functionality needs to overrule design. Overall this is a great game though, and I’m glad I found it. Hobo Trader should explore and enlighten on theme of a “day or night trader”. I really expected this game to be about diversifying the character’s portfolio. Trying to find something that might be a viral hit on the street market. And show options to ride the wave of SUCCESS from that WIN. This game really was just a mock-up. My Software Team could transform this app into game a game that actually could shift the way even a “hobo” looks at Economics of Business and the role an Sole Proprietor plays in Public Commerce. Instead of random items, equipment, and services to barter. How and when does equity come in to play? Whether it be a “simulation” or “reality”...What is the job here? Gaming can be mindless activity. As Game Developers we have an opportunity to plant a seed of knowledge by embedding in the program something valuable that didn’t expect. It looks like the issue is probably that the drops and rebounds are done on % va random dollar amounts as a function of a percentage of the established starting value. A 10% drop from $100 takes it to $90, but a 10% increase on $90 goes to $99. The complaints have been ongoing for the last year with nothing done to fix it. ### 1/5 — Rigged *2021-09-03, version 1.0.18* This game is rigged, it tracks what you buy and if you keep it, it never ever goes up. It gets a 1 star because the game simply doesn’t work. The game has a HUGE problem: I’ll buy something when prices are down and hope to sell them the next day when prices are up to make a profit (makes sense right?) but it doesn’t work and I somehow lose money..the price of an item goes UP, I sell my stock and some how LOSE money. Also, in the exact same scenario I’ve sometimes sold my stock to make exactly $0 profit. Something is seriously wrong. How is it that I buy something at $1.03 per item sell it the next day @$1.23 per item and LOSE money. The point of the game is shootout be where you buy items like cans and bottles for cheap and sell them for higher and make money. But really, that’s not what it is. On the first day, you will see prices for shoes at $25 or $17. But if you buy a lot of shoes, though the whole 30 days, the price will only drop. One time I bought as many shoes as I could, probably for $25 or something, and skipped to day 30, and the price had dropped to .25. But if you don’t buy anything and just skip to the last day, the price will be something like $731. It’s designed to make you want to buy tips and advantages for money. And the tips aren’t even helpful. One tip is letting you know that the online market is booming. When in the game, there is no online market. Don’t get the game, it’s rigged and incredibly unrealistic. ### 1/5 — Not very fun. *2021-01-28, version 1.0.17* There’s minimal explanation and the game itself is a ripoff of other games of the same sort. It’s the same, and even has less features.
