## What is Homemade Charades?

One phone. Two teams. Teamwork and laughter.

HOW IT WORKS
• Round 1. Describe: say anything you like, except the name on the card.
• Round 2. One Word: exactly one word. Choose it well.
• Round 3. Mime: no words at all. Act it out.

KIDS MODE
Made for little players with picture cards, so that smallies who cannot read can also play. Just one round, players can talk AND act, just don't say the word.

The team with the most cards or rounds wins. The deck always holds an odd number of cards, so a game can never end in a draw.

PACKED WITH CONTENT
• Hundreds of cards across People, Movies and Songs.
• Eleven card packs: International, British, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Brazilian, Indian, Korean, Japanese and Chinese. Mix them however you like.
• Or build your own deck, by writing your own cards.

PLAYS ANYWHERE
Fully offline. No ads, no accounts, no tracking, nothing to sign up for.
Plays in eleven languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Korean, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-18

• Hold to display: the card stays covered until the player acting it out holds a finger on it, so nobody else catches a glimpse. On by default, off in Kids mode; change it in Advanced settings.
• Movie and song cards now show just the title.
• A new app icon, and "Charades" now fits in full under it on the Home Screen.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-14

Now in eleven languages — English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Korean, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic — each with card packs to match.

Also new:
• A standings screen after every turn, so the hand-off screen carries one message: pass the phone.
• A 3-2-1 count-in, to get the phone turned round before the clock starts.
• A cosier look throughout.
