It was fast with no loading times. Edina Realty app used to be the best now almost unusable. Apple App Store rating is not for this version. The redesign is terrible. The ui gets in the way, the icons are dopey, performance is absolutely terrible. You have a major problem if your app is laggy on the latest and greatest iPhones. Map search results are often missing listings, when I tap to view a saved property, the screen is blacked out and I can’t see anything. The app logs me out every time I close it, even though I select “remember me” on the login page. I have been waiting for this app to improve, and unfortunately it’s just getting worse. Was hoping the user experience would improve with updates, but nope! If you can't get this right, how can we trust you have the collective brain power to know how to help people buy and sell homes? We now know you do not LISTEN to your customers! And now the app on the tablet no longer shows the date a home was listed. However, I really miss not being able to see the property map since they “upgraded” to the new app. I really wish they would add this feature back in. ### 1/5 — New Update Ruined a Good Thing *2025-04-17, version 7.1303.250411* I’ve used this app for a long time - I’ve even wished I could use the Edina realty app to search properties outside the Minnesota region due to its design and usability. This redesign changes that completely. The new app is laggy, harder to navigate and has obscured key features. There used to be a tab at the top with key items including “neighborhood”, which allowed you to interact with a map of the area - that’s now WAY at the bottom, and isn’t interactive unless you open the address as “directions” in an external app like Maps. Loss of functionality and performance is enough for me to switch back to Zillow - it’s not as good as old Edina Realty, but it’s better than this. ### 1/5 — From first to worst *2025-03-26, version 7.762.250224* This was sneakily the best app in the category, but the MyAtlas relaunch is unusable. The MyAtlas platform is awful. Important neighborhood and school information is gone (I need school names, it’s the most important thing), filters aren’t intuitive, year built is buried far down in the listing description… to name a few. I loved that the previous version was clean, user friendly, and felt like it was built by and for local users. The listings load so slowly that you can't actually move through the map without having to pause for listings to populate at speeds reminiscent of a dialup modem. Clicking on a listing to view a house? Want to see the details? Good luck. Between more slow loading and clicks that don't register, I wonder if my phone has become the Palm Pilot of my formidable years. The user experience nostalgia this app induces feels closer to nausea. Whatever they did when they merged with whomever, totally broke the app. Doesn’t work. You sit there and wait and wait and wait for literally anything to happen. It takes anywhere from 1-2 minutes to pull up the house to look at, then you have to wait for each photo to load. Once you’re done viewing it takes another 3-5 minutes for the X to actually close the listing. Might as well skip the app and either use another company or use the computer version not on your phone. I can no longer just move the map to look in other areas, and if you put a city in, it only shows that exact city nothing outside the lines. And, I have to keep resetting my preferences, and can't see all the houses for some reason.
