I thought i canceled this a month ago, but they just charged me. In other news, this is just another “pay us a lot do all the work yourself” lead generators. Look elsewhere... ### 2/5 — Doesn't Deliver What It Claims *2018-08-11, version 5.4.2* The reason I give this app two stars is because I think the way this app was marketed to me was super deceitful, and I can't stand when people/companies don't do what they say. Thank God for a free thirty day trial though. When I started using the app, it was something 100% completely different than I had expected. It's not a bad app, it's just not what I was told it was. It's like downloading Spotify and opening it up to find out it's actually eBay. MESSAGE TO DEVELOPER: PLEASE STOP CLAIMING TOO PROVIDE LEADS! Remarket yourself as a social media tool, because that's what this is -- not a lead generation tool. I downloaded it because and only because it was positioned as a lead generation app. Supposedly they do run ads, but they're both directed at anybody looking to buy or sell. They're directed toward home owners wanting to monitor their energy bill. That sounds like a homeowner that does NOT want to move to me. This app DOES post decent social media content that's better than usual for sure. They should just stick to promising what they actually provide, and that's it. I've also had this app for ten days and it has generated one lead and that was myself testing it out. If you want access to easily available content for social media for a few hundred bucks, that is what you will get, but I would be highly surprised if you get a single client directly from it, and I think that $225 for such a basic functioning app is pretty ridiculous honestly. We use the word ‘generate’ deliberately in our messaging. Getting quality leads is a marathon, not a sprint. Our lead gen and auto social marketing features target multiple stages of the sales funnel to generate low-cost, high-converting, warm & exclusive leads while simultaneously delivering savings and rebates to your sphere. It’s a WIN-WIN! There are other platforms that sell cold (and poorly-converting) leads which are shared with numerous other Realtors. HomeSelfe RE is uniquely designed to generate warm leads –over time– from your sphere (where leads convert at a whopping 60%), plus, once HomeSelfe RE’s lead gen feature is setup and turned on, it doesn't stop working for you. ### 1/5 — Got robbed *2018-07-09, version 5.4.0* Customer Service is non-existent. I cancelled my “free trial” 3 days before it ended and still got charged the $295. Now NOBODY responds to any of my inquires to try ro get a refund. **Developer response:** Victor- thank you for your feedback. It’s possible you have us confused with another company since there is a record of our conversations. On July 6th, 2018 we responded to your emails informing you that you made an in-app purchase through Apple. We also informed you that because you made an in app purchase you would need to manage your subscription through the App Store, we included instructions on how to cancel through Apple. You emailed again July 7th, 2018 and we responded on July 7th, 2018 informing you that your purchase was an in-app registration and we sent you instructions on how to cancel and receive a refund. It’s clear that you received our emails and followed the provided instructions because your account was canceled on July 8th, 2018 through Apple. Apple has an excellent refund system and refund requests are as a rule promptly fulfilled. Many of us realtors are paying ridiculous amounts of money for a couple of posts on social media or buying leads with poor conversion rates. My money has been well invested here. It’s $295 annually which is a little less than $25 per month- better than $20 per post! In a month I receive 8 posts to my Facebook, twitter and a newsletter. The content is great and I could even share more if I wanted to but the automation saves me sooooo much time. The leads are awesome because this HomeSelfe report includes great info like how to lower bills, getting rebates from our utility providers and other info. Some folks are focused on the quantity of leads but for me it’s all about the quality. These leads are QUALITY. The content and the reports are really insightful.
