Great customer service there. ### 1/5 — Updated and broke it *2025-09-03* Homestreet updated their app with “new colors and logos” related to their merger with mechanics bank. It is now stuck in an endless loop requiring a new update to be downloaded, which then requires a new update to be downloaded, ad seriatim, ad nauseum, ad infinitum. As a business customer of Homestreet, their app was the one bright light in an otherwise dark technological desert. And now they broke it. ### 1/5 — check deposit doesn't work!!!! *2025-05-27, version 6.0.6102* check deposit doesn't work!!!!! what a bad design ### 1/5 — Update - what?! *2025-04-23, version 6.0.6102* Could not use the app today - said it needed to update but the update never loaded. ### 1/5 — Awful. Horrible. Terrible. *2025-04-18* The app is awful. The bank is worse. Their customer “service” is a joke. The app is an example of what NOT to do in a banking app. When making a mobile deposit it takes so many clicks to get through the process! Two pages of instructions come up Every. Single. Time. you want to deposit a check. Taking photos is not automatic. Two more clicks to take a photo while you balance the phone and try to keep it aimed properly. We moved all of our business accounts there on the recommendation of a board member and I have regretted it every day since. ### 2/5 — Simple in a bad way *2024-09-26* Don’t get me wrong, I love my HomeStreet branch, but this app is awful. Only the very, very basic functions and leaves so much to be desired. It’s the only thing that makes me miss Chase. ### 5/5 — Love HomeStreet *2024-08-28* I’ve been using HomeStreet for my business accounts and personal accounts for several years and it doesn’t get any better. Their customer service is old-school amazing! An “actual person” is always available to answer any questions I have. Emails are responded to within 15 minutes (usually 5 minutes.) They’re the best! ### 1/5 — Very poor design and function *2024-04-22* This app is missing very key functionality (ie ability to type in your passcode) and is very redundant and clunky. Function is limited within the app, and there are many dead end pathways. On top of this, the bank itself forces users to reset passcode every 3 months, which can only be done via browser - but since you are unable to type your new passcode in, the system simply replies with “incorrect userID or passcode. Completely broken and this isn’t even the 7th problem I e had with it. I do not recommended this bank at all, definitely not the app. ### 5/5 — Great employees *2024-03-06* Rosie is very helpful.
