HomeTradie helps Australian homeowners describe a job in plain language — by typing, speaking, or attaching a photo — and get matched with local tradies who can help.

How it works:
- Tell us what's wrong in your own words. AI organises it into a clear job brief — no long forms to fill in.
- We privately notify a small number of relevant local tradies. Your exact address stays hidden until you choose someone to work with.
- Chat directly, in your own language. Messages are translated both ways so homeowners and tradies who speak different languages can understand each other clearly.
- Confirm a visit, get the job done, and leave the details behind — no public bidding war, no spam.

For tradies, HomeTradie is always free: build a profile, get matched to real local jobs by trade and area, and grow your business without paying for leads.

HomeTradie supports English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Vietnamese and Arabic, so language is never a barrier to getting home repairs, renovations or new-build work done properly.

What's new:
· Post a job either way — say it in your own words, or fill in a short form (what the job is, one line, your suburb).
· One tap to start: pick homeowner or tradie and you're straight in.
· Fixed a large blank gap between the content and the message box on phones.
· Registered tradies no longer see a "sign up" prompt on sample jobs.
· Fixed project photos turning into a blank square after upload.
