I keep credit cards in all my vehicles now because I was stranded one time in a gas station at 1 am and had thousands of dollars in my account but could not get too it until the next business day. I had to spend the whole night locked in my car at a gas station and call the next day to get into my account. We will no longer be banking with HomeTrust because of this app. Their app developers are either heavily under funded or heavily under educated. This app is garbage and has been garbage for 4+ years. HomeTrust refuses to grow into the 21st century so I am left with no other option than to leave. Each time you have to call and they tell me it’s my fault. Realized it was happening because if you have face recognition set up and it reads your face wrong once it locks you out. Finally turned it off and didn’t have problems for a while.. well today it decides it wants to verify my device randomly, even though I was just on the app on this device yesterday. It says it may take 2 minutes to receive the code. Well, it actually took 5 minutes+ to receive the code, and if you close out of the app or let the screen go black you have to start over. So I did it again, entered the code.. wrong code! It must have been several codes back since it sent me 4. Now I am locked out of my account on a Friday night for the whole weekend. Great! It says no connectivity or something. Very frustrating when you are trying to access your account, transfer funds, etc. It seems to occur mostly around major holidays or weekends. I’ve also noticed that it will lock up once a large deposit has been placed into your account. This still did not work. If it wasn’t for this, I would give the app 5 stars! I can do everything I need to do through the app and it has worked great for the last 10 years, until now.
