### 3/5 — Unhelpful

*2026-04-30, version 2.4.0*

There’s potential here, but it doesn’t do what you need and the upload icons are not intuitive. Worst though, I contacted them on website (I have a paid acct) to ask a simple question —and after 2+ weeks—still no reply.

### 2/5 — Stupid app

*2024-11-27, version 2.4.0*

This app seems to be designed for people who want to keep track of all their furniture, jewelry baseball card, collections, etc. I was using it to track finances for a shared vacation property. For that purpose, it was utterly useless. The reporting function was poorly designed and didn’t work. The function to transfer transactions from your bank account didn’t work. Also, the function design to track property improvements was needlessly complicated, and also didn’t work. So I finally gave up and now use Quicken for all the above. Buyer beware.

### 2/5 — Non existent customer service

*2023-04-14, version 2.4.0*

Purchase this app several months ago. Started using it right away and it seemed to have most of the features that would be helpful to me. However, I have not been able to get into the app for a while now. App won’t allow me to sign in and won’t allow me to reset the account. I have reached out to the company via messaging, email and phone call and to date no one has responded. I will be canceling the service as soon as possible.

### 3/5 — Poor customer service and no subscription reminders

*2022-05-24, version 2.3.0*

The site and app itself are good but just turned out not to be of use for my personal needs.

Updated review: they offered a refund.
Set yourself a reminder to cancel your subscription or you might be stuck with another year. Provided of course you don’t intend on renewing as was my case. I missed the deadline by day. I set a reminder to do this on my phone and I missed the window based on when they processed my subscription. I tried calling and emailing numerous times for a month. I finally got a response and they said NO refunds it’s against their policy. Finally after some back and forth they agreed to a refund.

### 2/5 — Bugs!

*2021-08-03, version 2.3.0*

I just upgraded to premium to get all the features, to be disappointed that they were bugging out. I can’t choose “fixed rate” for mortgage type, there’s just an empty space between VA and adjustable. If I put any extra money into the calculator it says I’ll pay off the house this year! Which isn’t correct but would be wonderful considering I just bought the house.

### 1/5 — Apparently dead app

*2019-10-08, version 2.0.0*

I recommend passing on this one.

No updates in 3 years.
Unable to launch on iOS 13.
And it’s useless without a pricey subscription?
Wish I’d known all that earlier.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2019-09-07, version 2.0.0*

Unless you want to spend a $60 subscription fee to actually use the app then go for it. Otherwise, this app is junk.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-05-02, version 2.0.0*

I signed up for the free account just to see what the app can do. Everything is a premium feature. There is no free version. Complete waste of time. Can’t even tell what that app can do with paying

### 3/5 — Needs calendar integration and more

*2018-06-01, version 2.0.0*

This app would be a 5 if we could get calendar integration, finger or face recognition, app alerts that pinged on my device versus having to open an email. But other than that it’s a cool app that helps me keep track of my household inventory as well as keep us on a maintenance schedule to keep our home in tip top shape.

This app is cool but the developers need to do some serious upgrades.

### 3/5 — Maintenance schedule not on mobile

*2016-08-02, version 2.0.0*

I just spent $60 and greater than two hours to set up my home maintenance schedule, only to find that the calendar is not on the mobile app and there is no way to sync to Outlook or phone in any way. This is disappointing as it makes the to-do/maintenance calendar practically obsolete. Considering most people exist on mobile devices in their day to day lives, I hope there will be an integration soon.

### 4/5 — New 2.0 version is great

*2016-06-12, version 2.0.0*

I updated my home inventory with over 200 photos, and the app prints a great PDF I sent to my insurance agent. He loves it

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Login Options Don’t Match Website Options

*2025-10-01, version 2.4.0*

My account was created on the website and I used my Apple account to do so, since it was an option. The app doesn’t have the option, and will not recognize you trying to login in manually with your Apple account.

### 1/5 — Glitch and Locked my account

*2023-06-07*

Set face ID during my first use. Next time I try to login, it was having a glitch with a Face ID. Then locked my account because of too many unsuccessful attempts to login.

### 1/5 — I can’t even log in

*2023-05-26, version 2.4.0*

The app is stuck at the login page and keeps asking for Face ID in an endless loop.

### 1/5 — Beware of upgrading this app!

*2023-01-30, version 2.4.0*

I downloaded the free app and generally liked the appearance and useability but the features that I as really interested in required the paid version. I paid for the upgrade but within a few hours of using it realized that there was no great value in the added features and I could store the same information more flexibly in a simple spreadsheet. So I contacted the developers less than a day after buying the app and expected that my money would be refunded as i had requested. I have now made three requests for a refund but have heard nothing back so I need to share my experience and warn other potential users.

### 1/5 — Horrible customer Service

*2022-04-21, version 2.3.0*

I would advise against using this app. The interface is clunky and they refuse to give refunds, even when requested shortly after renewal. Oh, and if you cancel, your access is cut off immediately, so you dont get access to it at all, even tho you were charged for another year of access. 🙄

I had forgotten about this subscription, thinking i cancelled earlier in the year. I contacted them just a couple days after seeing the renewal charge to inform that I dont use the app, hadnt been in for mo ths and no longer wanted the service.

I received a response basically saying their policy states they dont give refunds and confirming at that point it was cancelled, and i wont be charged again. I received no reminder that the fee would be charged like good companies provide, so i responded informing them i have no desire to use the app, thought i had cancelled months ago, and asked for consideration to refund the charges.

That email was sent on 3/29/21. And a follow up email was sent on 4/08. And still, no reply. Judging by the feedback others have received from this company, maybe i can look forward to a response within a couple years 🙄

### 1/5 — Rip off and terrible customer service

*2022-03-29, version 2.3.0*

It renewed, i was no longer using it. Accept i should have cancelled but 79 for a year and i clearly didn’t want it anymore. It also doesn’t renew in apple subscriptions so i didn’t see it on my list. They wouldn’t refund and it’s clearly how they try and make their money. I then cancelled in entirety so now not only do i not want to use it. I’ve paid for it and can’t use it. Just awful. There’s better solutions out there

### 1/5 — Useless without premium

*2021-03-06, version 2.2.0*

Why would I choose premium if I wasn’t sure about the quality of those features?

### 1/5 — Limited functionality and no refunds

*2020-12-29, version 2.2.0*

I am really unhappy with the refund policy. They use “upfront data costs” as a reason not to offer a refund. This is bogus. They just want to keep my money. The app has weak and limited functionality too.

### 1/5 — Literally unusable

*2020-10-28, version 2.1.0*

The continue button doesn’t work when making an account.

### 1/5 — Useless without paying subscription

*2019-10-11, version 2.0.0*

Want maintenance lists that other apps can do free? $60 subscription. I would expect manual lists like Apple’s Reminders and other readily (free) available apps to also be comparably free, and perhaps pay for a subscription on things like automatic lists, auto schedules, etc. total waste of time to download because there’s no other useful info other than for taking inventory / pictures of your stuff that could be kept elsewhere more securely.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Hidden gem

*2024-12-08, version 2.4.0*

Great for the organized home owner. Most people focus on the inventory capabilities, but the maintenance task calendar is key. And it integrates into your phone/desktop calendar!

One suggestion is to have the snow related maintenance tasks driven off weather data from the home location instead of simple recurring schedules.

### 5/5 — The best digital home management app period.

*2024-06-14, version 2.4.0*

I was looking for an easy way to document the belongings in our home, and tried dozens of other apps, which all felt as tedious as doing it manually with excel. Homezada has all areas covered in one place and certainly provides peace of mind & access conveniently in my pocket.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and comprehensive

*2022-01-12, version 2.3.0*

Takes awhile to set up your own list of maintenance tasks and your inventory, but you can be very detailed . I use it to keep track of our house and a rental, mainly to have a record for my wife if she doesn’t have me around to do this maintenance

### 5/5 — New document management

*2021-07-28, version 2.3.0*

Great record keeping with the latest version that provides the ability to document scan my receipts as part of my home inventory.

### 5/5 — Latest update is much better

*2021-06-20, version 2.3.0*

The latest update supports face and Touch ID which makes it much easier to login and update my home inventory. They finally support notifications which also keeps me up to date on my house

### 5/5 — Makes an inventory really easy

*2021-05-23, version 2.2.0*

I like how the property wizard predicts all the rooms and the items in each room. Then it guides you through taking pictures of all the things in each room

### 5/5 — Property info

*2016-07-18, version 2.0.0*

Living in hurricane country means you need a home inventory, and the new HomeZada app lets me save unlimited photos and important property documents. My insurance agent loves it.

### 5/5 — Easy to setup

*2016-06-20, version 2.0.0*

The app was easy to signup, and it a populates a lot of rooms and items for you. Taking photos and uploading was a breeze

### 5/5 — Great home inventory app

*2016-05-31, version 2.0.0*

The app works perfectly and never crashes. It has made taking inventory simple and easy. I am confident that I have greater security for my home and all that comes with being a home owner.

### 5/5 — Great Extension of website!

*2014-07-18, version 1.1*

This App is a great extension of the HomeZada website. I recently started using the software and it has already made my life easier. I've already had the ability to save money on my maintenance services and it's great to track where my expenses on my home are going. I haven't upgraded to the premium version yet, but I'm sure I will at some point in the near future! Be sure to register on their website in conjunction with the app to get full functionality! Can't wait to see what new features they release!
