## What is Hommychat?

Hommychat is a private AI communication practice app for conversations that deserve preparation.

Choose a goal-based template or create your own scenario. Practice what you want to say with AI roles by text or voice, adjust the pressure level, hear responses read aloud, and review practical coaching after each turn.

Text Practice, Practice Labs, AI Assistant, written reviews, image generation, Practice Lab Audio Replay, and replay of saved audio are free. Credits are used only when the user explicitly creates a new narrated Audio Coaching Review from a completed practice. The fixed price is 200 Credits, charged only after the audio is generated and saved successfully.

The Practice Lab uses an eight-seat visual layout labeled AI-ONLY PRACTICE · LOCAL SESSION. Its AI ROLES count shows only the AI roles currently added to the rehearsal. These elements do not represent real people or a public network. Hommychat does not provide person matching, public rooms, social feeds, user-to-user messaging, gifting, tipping, paid companionship, or communication with real people.

Practice records, Favorites, generated images, and saved audio files are stored locally on the device. When an AI feature is requested, the relevant text, recognized voice transcript, or image prompt is sent to SiliconFlow for AI generation. Microphone audio is handled through iOS Speech Recognition; Hommychat sends the resulting transcript, not a live social voice stream, to SiliconFlow. Hommychat applies local multilingual rule-based checks to supported text inputs, generated text responses, and image prompts. Generated text is checked before display or read-aloud, and image prompts are checked before generation.

The five main tabs are Home, Templates, Practice, History, and Me. Templates open text rehearsals. Practice contains private AI Practice Lab templates, a Create action for custom labs, and locally saved Practice Lab setups. History contains local rehearsal history and an AI Assistant entry. Me contains Credits, local records, profile settings, and Blocked & Hidden management.
