Don’t plan on support helping you. I have sent several emails and messages in regards to a “Reload” message on a camera that isn’t working with no reply for two weeks now. Still waiting,....

It’s not working. I updated it and now Keeps going offline and won’t download motion captures.  I really need my camera to keep me secure in my home. This needs fixed ASAP!!!

Although it took everything I could think of, I eventually managed to connect and it worked well. This is a terrific piece of hardware but doesn’t fill its true potential due to the app! First, the recording area is inaccurate and however much is blocked off, it makes no difference! The same applies to the sensitivity setting. 
Secondly, however may times I do a time check, since the one and only update, the date stamp records a date in 1936!
Finally, the light duration doesn’t appear to be accurate but this may be due to the issue with the date stamp. 
Please help to resolve this as my camera is so important to security and it was a huge expense for an item that the app lets down.
Update
There has been no update for 11 months. Please sort out an update to resolve the sensitivity. Thank you.
Update March 2019
App has stopped working. Really needs updating as I can’t get any pictures or videos.

For a start, this lamp should do the basic things that you would expect a lamp to do on installation without setting up from the app. Yes, the camera may need the app for initial setup & for fine tuning. But if your having problems getting the app to work then the lamp is left redundant. It still comes on but unless you you’ve setup an account and paired the lamp with the app you are left with a lamp that makes a nonstop annoying alert until it’s setup (please note this is loud). If the alert sound was to go off after 5 minutes it wouldn’t be too bad. 

Since the app isn’t updated as frequently by the manufacturer, it just wouldn’t allow me to create an account on my new phone so I’ve had to use an old iPhone to bypass this. And now it works a charm however the built-in WiFi isn’t that great so I would recommend you connect it to its network socket that it comes with for a secure and guaranteed connection. 

You may need some silicon to seal the edges if it’s going to be exposed to the elements and not sheltered from the rain. Overall, once you have it up and running it feels like a nice bit of kit.
