I’m not tech savvy but I did manage to start my first WiFi cycle from home. Time will tell ### 3/5 — Nice but has a few issues *2026-08-16, version 2.29.8* I like the fact that I can control my appliances from my phone as my washer, drier and dishwasher have way more programs on the app than they do just using the knob on the front. I also like the fact I can preheat my oven and set programs from my phone and I can keep on top of maintenance with all my appliances as I want them to last and work as best as they can and I'm really happy with all my purchases. However the app is very buggy. Sometimes, I have to close and restart the app when selecting a program many times for it to actually start. With my oven when selecting a program, it started with the wrong time and temp and had to reset pairing but it still does the same thing....although I am noticing improvements with the app frequently and know the developers are really trying to perfect it. Thank you hOn team. ### 3/5 — Not Great (edit, things have improved somewhat with updates) *2026-08-15, version 2.29.8* New air con units fitted and installed this app to control it. Found the device & added in the app fine , but same as another review. when you control it via the app, if you click on any setting to change it etc it just closes the app ! ### 3/5 — Not useful for wine cellar yet *2026-08-12, version 2.27.9* I found this App pretty immature for use with the Haier Wine Cellar. It does have a nice feature to record the type of wine being stored or removed, but for a wine cellar of this size (42 bottles) it is not really necessary. It also has a notification when the filter needs changing and if there is an error/issue, but the latter tells me when the door has been opened too long (restocking) to contact customer services for help! But, there is no current temperature or humidity display in the App, so I don’t know if there is an issue. For now I use my own external temperature/humidity sensors inside the wine cellar. ### 2/5 — Used to be good now unreliable *2026-08-09, version 2.27.9* This used to be a good efficient app but over the last few months just sits and spins. Does not remember log in when, after multiple forced stop/starts that is prompted. Also fails to remember settings in the app. The easiest way to resolve the issue is to uninstall and reinstall which forces a login. Can’t even get to the support or feedback pages as these are unavailable. I hope someone reads this as there appears to be no other way of reporting app issues ### 2/5 — Painful *2026-08-01, version 2.27.9* Can be slow, too many pop ups, theory is there but in practice it falls short of expectations and has the potential to add an extra bit of frustration to life you don’t get when you twist the dial and press the buttons yourself. It likes to start cycles you did not select. Example - trying to set a hand wash program, it starts coloured bed linen, after three failed attempts I got my partner to try to set it using his device to see if it was a me issue and it did exactly the same to him. (Yes, our apps and devices are fully updated). ### 2/5 — App crashes *2026-07-29, version 2.27.9* App crashes and when I go back on the app there is no cycle going , I then have to turn off the machine and back on to link it back up. Also I want to be able to put clothes on dry and select my time. This is blank every time I go to it so I’m stuck doing a 2 hour dry ### 3/5 — Great app if it don’t keep crashing *2026-07-23, version 2.27.9* App is great, There is some very good functions and controls however, every time I press edit details on my Air conditioner the app closes and crashes ### 1/5 — Updates broke features *2026-07-23, version 2.27.9* Hoover HF 3C7L0B-80 1. Every time I launch the app or go to the home page, I have to confirm the eco schedule for the appliance for it to appear as a delay choice when choosing a program. Sometimes it takes several attempts. 2. Now that open door is a choice switch, it does not work. The door does not open at the end of the cycle despite being selected. These two features are why I purchased this dishwasher and now they no longer work. Please fix these bugs as soon as possible. My dishwasher no longer functions as advertised and if they are not fixed then I will be pursuing a full refund. ### 2/5 — Timings on the programmes are not correct *2026-07-22, version 2.27.9* As others have said, trying to schedule washes is impossible when the times of the programmes are not correct. For example, anti-odour sportswear is much longer than 40mins. And although I have not used it, I’m assuming that the allergy care pro is longer than 3 minutes. It’s been like this for a while, but the time displayed before I actually started the wash used to be accurate so I could at least time the wash to start at a certain time, but now most of the washes I use via the app are not accurate timings at all. ### 3/5 — Not Great *2026-07-21, version 2.27.9* Sometimes it works great but often not. Being able to set different cycles from your phone is great when it works, I find only certain cycles tend to work. It can be very temperamental. If the clunkiness and glitches can be worked out it would be a 5star app. ### 1/5 — Barcode scanning does not work *2026-07-15, version 2.27.9* Bought a Haier Fridge Freezer that came with the app. Easy enough to set up, but only tells you the temperature the fridge / freezer is set to, not the actual temperature it is at. Very few functions and the one that seemed useful, adding items to the fridge / freezer via barcode scanning simply doesn’t work. Tried a multitude of items, it hasn’t found a single one ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Allergic profile doesn’t exist - purifier *2026-08-20, version 2.29.8* Bought it for the allergic profile on the app so it would help with my allergies and inform me when certain allergens were present. Despite many messages to help desk, the profile isn’t working and seems it never has. ### 1/5 — This app can’t tell the time? *2026-08-20, version 2.29.8* I only need this app to schedule my Hoover washing machine use, however it consistently fails to either start or finish at the right time which ever option you use. It also regularly just refuses to connect to the device I’d read some reviews beforehand but thought surely it can’t be that bad …. It is! ### 1/5 — Hasn’t worked for months. *2026-08-17, version 2.29.8* Spent half an hour trying to re link my machine to the app yesterday and eventually gave up. ### 1/5 — Just about functional *2026-08-16, version 2.29.8* I rarely write app reviews, but this app is so bad I felt the need to. It’s slow, clunky, crashes often regularly buttons just don’t work. When selecting a 49 minute quick wash program, it puts on a 2 hour wash for some reason. Pairing my dishwasher took three attempts for some reason. It does allow me to start a dishwasher cycle from my phone, but it’s a very frustrating experience. It probably needs building again from the ground up. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-08-15, version 2.29.8* App Worked briefly with my dishwasher then stopped and it is been unusable since then..claims to doesn’t work at 5Gz internet ..well it did and then stopped.. ### 1/5 — Family sharing is non functional *2026-08-11, version 2.27.9* Family sharing does not work. When opening link or scanning QR code it just opens a page that isn’t sized correctly. I have no text zoom or accessibility setting enabled. The FAQ and troubleshooting are poor at best. very disappointing for such an expensive washer from what I thought was a quality company ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-08-10, version 2.27.9* Awful - it now asks me to fully log in each time I load the app, and it doesn’t accept the OTP code that I get emailed. Also very laggy and takes ages to tell you it’s not the correct code (even though it is). I literally can’t use it anymore as I can’t get into it. It’s so annoying. Please sort it out developers - I’m on an iPhone 16 with the latest iOS. ### 1/5 — Warning *2026-08-07, version 2.27.9* Will enable notifications without asking you, if it had asked I’d have declined. The warning box had a “Do not show again” tick box that didn’t work. I kept getting the box every-time I set my washer off. I’m pleased to say the developer replied to my previous review saying it would be resolved in a future update. I took this with a pinch of salt but I have just realised I’m no longer getting the nagging message, so clearly the developer stuck to their word. Very impressed with both the app and my washing machine. 5* ### 5/5 — Candy Washer Dryer *2026-08-25, version 2.29.8* Love this app that gives me the freedom to start my wash wherever it’s convenient to me to I can hang out to dry when I get home. Added bonus is it advises me if rain is forecast and double checks I still want to start the wash cycle!
