Making a mortgage payment has less options now that a 3rd party services handling mortgage payments. This 3rd party will not apply weekly payments immediately, inputting payments with cents is cumbersome, and is slow to process payments. The app does not immediately reflect payments. HFCU is no longer the friendly, local credit union it once was and the app reflects that. It appears there is a glitch or technical issue within the app itself. No matter how many times I try, I receive the same error and cannot connect or view my account information. This is extremely frustrating, especially when I need access to my banking services. What concerns me even more is the impact this may have on older customers. I am fairly comfortable with technology, and even I cannot get past this issue. I can only imagine how discouraging and stressful this must be for elderly men and women or anyone who struggles with technology. It must be very upsetting to repeatedly try to access your own account and feel like you’re doing something wrong when, in reality, the problem appears to be with the app. Please investigate and fix this issue as soon as possible. A banking app should be reliable, accessible, and functional for all customers.
