It is really confusing. All has never done this before. My water temp can read 70 degrees and oil is straight to 491. Please help ### 3/5 — Inconvenience *2024-09-21* Reason for my rating is that the fact you gotta have your phone plugged in at all time to run the app is very annoying, especially when you don’t have a place to hold the phone firm when doing track days. I recommend making the app compatible with Apple car play so then you can have it essentially Bluetooth. Also can this app have a couple of additions that the FL5 app has like being able to change the color of the car? It is always white but I have a boost blue would be a nice touch. This app is a joke, spend $40,000 on a Type R and this big “perk” of the 2020 model was way overhyped. They made it with bare minimum effort. Here are my specific complaints: - the app doesn’t even work! Lol, it crashes every single time I open it. iOS 14.7 - it worked for like 2 months when I bought the car. I was super annoyed that you couldn’t change the color of the R on screen. - why can’t the user choose the data to display? So stupid. We want to see a cool animated boost gauge, we want to be able to choose from a list of all onboard sensors which data points to display. - lap mode never worked - never would auto clock my 0-60s - This should have something that allows the user to tap to start a 0-60 time with the clutch pressed in, as soon as the clutch releases the timer should start and stop at 60mph. Same for a 40 roll (40-100mph) I could go on, but you get it. Honda engineers made an awesome vehicle platform, but your software engineers are lacking here. It’s not hard to know that performance enthusiasts want a performance focused system. (That actually works!) I just found out the app will cease to function after 5/31/26……………..Why? Because the developers of this app are horrible, suck at their jobs, and don’t care about abandoning customers. You actually abandoned this app years ago and now you’re killing it? Go do something rude to yourself!! ### 1/5 — Atmosphere Pressure *2025-11-22, version 1.0.12* Atmosphere pressure no longer shows any values on my 2021. It used to show up in the past but now just shows a - Tried emailing support. They asked me questions about my VIN to forward off to another department. It’s been months and never heard a response back. It’s like they don’t care to do any updates now that the FK8 is no longer the current model. ### 1/5 — Total lack of support - This app is dead *2025-03-14* It is an absolute crime what Honda did with this app. They do not care about their customers and have completely abandoned this app, and Type-R owners of 2018-2021 Type-Rs. WHERE ARE THE UPDATES HONDA!!?? There is a new Logr app for the 23’ Type Rs that have all the features we want. Don’t worry, those folks will be abandoned soon by the app devs as well. Nice job alienating your customer base. It’s been well over a year since the last update. Give me the code, add the features people want (like changing the car color, how hard is that devs?) This app has had no support from Honda. No additional features added, you still cannot change the color of the car, no new instrument displays, etc. Meanwhile they released the Log R 2.0 app. It has a lot of nice new features, including the ones I mentioned above…..but it only supports the ‘22 Type R and not previous models like the ‘21, etc. It’s safe to say this app is dead as far as the developers are concerned. The devs should just put out a notice saying “We don’t care about this app anymore”. Because they clearly do not. All the devs can do is reply to reviews with “Thank you for your feedback, we will use this for future improvements” and then, years later NOTHING. Leider hat der Civic selbst kein Wireless Carplay und die App ist dafür auch leider nicht freigeschaltet, daher kann man diese nicht benutzen falls man sich z.Bsp. den CarlinKit 2.0 besorgt hat (wo alle anderen Apps 1A laufen). Kind regards, LogR Support ### 5/5 — Staydopeeee on IG - USA/CA - LogR *2020-09-04* Feels great to finally have an app that can help you track your oil temps, air intake temps, etc. I’m a brand new owner of a 2020 R, just bought mine in June and it’s crazy to think this is not available for all platforms of Rs. It’s something that needs to be tracked because of heat soak, hot areas, etc. I live in Coachella, CA where it gets 120 degrees in the summer and it’s not necessarily good for boosted cars. The App is great, has a bit of lag when it comes to updated temps but it isn’t in the seconds frames. It’s like the in the trillionth/millionth of a second. You can feel the sluggishness but nothing crazy. It’s very easy to install if you know how to. Very great app and hope when it arrives to the US store, more new features are available!! Kind regards, LogR Support ### 4/5 — Solid app but lacks customization *2022-01-09, version 1.0.6* Thank you Honda for adding a way for type R owners to access extra information while driving. The app is easy to use and the driver score is a fun way to make daily driving fun. Also I love the view of having a type r copy what your R is currently doing while driving, it’s pretty cool that they incorporated that. But I didn’t give 5 stars because of the lack of customization. I drive a boost blue R yet the app won’t let me change the cars colour so I’m stuck looking at a championship white R. It does look amazing though. Also would be nice to add other parameters on top of oil and atmospheric pressure and oil and water temperature. Maybe add a way to view knock control, AFR, and fuel trims. Just more ways to see how your R is doing. Overall it’s a great upgrade to the 2017-2019 type R’s and actually provides great information.
