However, using the app is problematic. It wouldn't add my rewards redemption to the order. Then it wouldn't allow me to place the order. I had to literally go into the store, place my order & redeem my rewards at the kiosk vs placing my order through the app and just picking it up. Please fix. While the website has a way to see it the 3rd party doesn’t work well and doesn’t change for sauces, sometimes doesn’t show the same for custom that it does for menu based even though it’s the same. Which can be hard for stricter medical diets to be sure you are in the limits ### 5/5 — Great! *2026-03-11, version 7.3.1* It’s a fun app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No nutritional info *2026-08-13, version 7.4.1* This is 2026 - why is the nutritional information or calculations not listed on the app. Chopt, Mezeh, etc add everything up for you, there’s no reason this can’t give you nutrition totals. ### 1/5 — Decent App, Despicable Business Practice *2026-07-17, version 7.4.1* The app is actually pretty decent, but I’m giving it one star because it tries to force you tip by automatically selecting 15% at check out. If you are forcing me to tip 15% every time I place an order, that’s not a tip. That’s a service fee. By automatically selecting a predefined tip amount, they are trying manipulate you by instilling a sense of guilt if you change the tip to 0, so you end up paying more when you might normally not want to just to avoid those uncomfortable feelings. This is called Dark Patterning. Look it up. ### 1/5 — App Profile *2026-07-13, version 7.4.1* I signed up on the app using my phone number, etc. Now every time I go into the app it says I did not complete my info and to add my phone number. I add the number and it keeps telling me it’s taken. I tried Contact Us with the chat and that’s unhelpful for my request. The food was cold and dry. ### 1/5 — Disgusting and unsafe. Don’t eat here! *2026-05-18, version 7.4.0* I ordered a make your own bowl with steak. However, they gave me steak and shrimp. I am allergic to shrimp. Worse, the shrimp were buried so I could not see them until I had already eaten some noodles. As soon as I saw the shrimp, I immediately stopped eating and became very nauseous (because of my allergy). Customer service will not respond. I had a mild allergic reaction from the cross contamination of the shrimp touching the noodles, and feel too nauseated to ever eat there again. I am not typically a picky eater, but because of my allergy this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I also ordered other toppings like broccoli and cauliflower, which were not included, but that is a minor issue. It is not about the shrimp. It is about the lack of quality assurance, customer service, and low quality of the establishment. The employees did not seem to understand english, so this may have been part of the problem. Customer service did not even give me a refund. They offered a 10$ off your next purchase coupon, which is pointless because I will never eat there again. Also, the bowl cost over 14 dollars, so it doesn’t even cover the bowl that gave me an allergic reaction. ### 1/5 — The time selection is terrible *2026-04-11, version 7.3.6* Don’t let me select too close of an order time if it’s just going to be invalid at checkout I tried 4 separate times and deleted the app ### 1/5 — Loaded with issues *2026-03-12, version 7.3.1* The reward don’t even show the complete coupon name. When clicked on it tells you to add the product. How is one supposed to know without being able to read the complete text of the reward name and detail description of inclusions , exclusions. My food was delivered to another house and in order to get my money back, I have to wait 24 for them to approve my refund then wait 7-10 business days for the actual refund. There’s a photo of the wrong house and I still can’t get my refund back right now ### 1/5 — Fix your username and password system *2026-01-03, version 7.3.1* I love the food at Honeygrow. It actually being able to order it that’s the problem. I have been locked out of your app again and again. First, you don’t use the iPhones functionality to remember passwords. So warning, new users: write down your password somewhere, otherwise the phone will immediately forget it and you won’t have it anymore. You’ll be logged out when you least expect it, and won’t be able to get back in. Second, you make it impossible to change an account email address. I am getting rid of one of my email services. That happened to be the one I used to sign up for Honeygrow. Changing my email address was impossible, either through the app or the website; my only choice was to delete my account and start over. However, I could not. You locked out my phone number. Third, even after I managed to get that straightened out, my password is no longer working. The app request to send me my password doesn’t work. It just fails quietly without actually doing anything. I don’t know how you can survive if you hemorrhage customers away all the time. And the last time I went into your store, your in-store kiosk crashed and lost my order.
