Can’t order filters or read the manual. I realize this is Bluetooth, and is limited in its capabilities as opposed to Wi-Fi. Bought a Winix unit at Cosco, Wi-Fi, great functionality and very quiet. Scheduling on the Honeywell is terrible! Come on Honeywell, you are the industry standard in the air business for years. You are way better than this product. ### 2/5 — OK for basic information *2021-07-02, version 1.0.3* None of the functions, such as links to where you can buy filters, work. I am in Canada. None of the “More” options work. Seriously needs updates. No help from Honeywell itself. Back to finding the filters the old- fashioned way (Best Buy Canada) ### 3/5 — Apps worth downloading and using but *2021-05-10* All the links don’t work. Cant reset air filter once I’ve replaced it. I’ll change my rating once these are fixed. But no way to update it. Also Allergen Auto-Set doesn’t seem to be linked to Allergy Alert preferences. ### 1/5 — Best Buy scam *2020-03-05, version 1.0.3* Bought 3 of these from Best Buy and the filter pack they had next to it. Why in the world would there be a kit with an inferior filter set? Scammed by both Honeywell and Worst Buy. It’s not the filter set actually included with the unit. Once you finally need the recharge kit and realize they screwed you out of buying the correct thing, it’s too late to return or exchange so go spend more money. And you have to cut the prefilters which is stupid and part of the ripoff. So sick of dishonest companies. And where are the app updates? Once a year? Can’t get connected anymore. You pull up the owners manual for the HPA8350B, and you’ll get plenty of information on the operation of the purifier EXCEPT how to operate the Bluetooth function. And why should I complain about that? Because the two air filters I have constantly unpair with the app forcing me to constantly repeat the pairing process. Also, you better be within 30 feet or less of a purifier or you have no connection with it. You might as well resign yourself to manually controlling the purifier or suffer the frustration of your wasted time trying to get the app to perform reliably. Honeywell? Fire your apps development department and save yourself some salary costs. ### 1/5 — Bluetooth Issues *2023-04-27* Bluetooth used to connect and remain connected no matter where I was in my home, but since the most recent update, the connection drops all the time. It’s a pain. Bluetooth is on, on the app, and there are still issues. Every time I click on the link within the app, it says it can’t display the page. My filter needed to be changed and the app showed it was still green. Consumers paid a lot of money for this machine. Most of the additional information the app provides (in the More section) like the necessary manual, quickstart guide or registering your product for the warranty leads to a “page not found” notice. Bluetooth doesn’t work ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Schedule *2020-03-17* I wish there was a way to add more schedules for different days and different times of the year so you don’t have to change the whole schedule for when it comes (for example) fall season you would like a different schedule but you don’t want to change the whole thing every year. ### 5/5 — Yup 100% works & offer expected functionality *2018-10-27, version 1.0.2* The beauty of the app is its simplicity in that it lets you control all the same buttons that are on the air purifier by first connecting via Bluetooth and then using the app. As a bonus the app gives you consistently the same insight into filter life that you obtain by looking at the physical colour light indicators on the purifier. Aside from pressing the Bluetooth button on the physical device, you’ll never need to get off the couch to get the purifier working! ### 5/5 — This is cool as hell *2018-03-31* You can just sit on your couch and turn it on and off, also can set a schedule for it to run on a daily basis, I set mine from 4pm -6pm so when I get home my living smells fresh. You first have to press the Bluetooth button on the air purifier, then press CONNECT on your phone, finally And most importantly hold down the Bluetooth bottom on the air purifier.
