Downloaded app hoping to support purchase of flight LAX to HK. Opened app - everything’s in Chinese (which I have no knowledge of) no obvious way to toggle to English, yet the download page climes the primary language to be EN. What am I missing?

The app is terrible and it doesn’t have my booking details even after I logged in.  I recently purchased tickets for my entire family and I had to retrieve each booking by entering the full name of the passenger and the respective ticket number.  This means I had to do this separately and individually during online check-in for everyone going on the trip.  The website is pretty similar and I couldn’t find all the details of the tickets I purchased.  This is especially painful during online check-in as I wasn’t able to complete the process via the app.  Can I give it a zero star?

Passport scan requires you to line up with passport chip, which I’ve never heard of on any other app. Also paying for a seat during check in causes payment failure and the system accuses you of checking in twice if you try again. The app is a total disaster.

it is really a shame that a so called a HK Airline representing
Hong Kong could allow such a horrible app. It always says my ticket number/ref no. is invalid and could never retrieve my flight.  No QA/QC done on this app.  Information required to be filled is not consistent across both app and website.  Simply a mess!!!

I gave five stars to let all u guys see this trash app. Please never book flights on this company, their app is just a trial version for their IT staff to have a practice game. And Then the users will have the most disgusting experience using an app. I don't know why such app can still on the store with all one star ratings. My flight was cancelled by the the company withouht any notice, and I got no compensation But have to change my schedule with extra cost by my own. Such terrible Experience. Wish you will never have to come to here rating one star for this company.
