We paid on behalf of Honk to the yard but because of an issue we could not towed the vehicle. Honk is not reimbursing us the money we paid on their behalf to the yard even after following up for months. ### 1/5 — Bad app , bad app, almost bad people to do business with *2025-04-03, version 4.4.4* App is terrible, always on the glitch side .. this app will cause your scores to drop and they won’t fix your scores.. no where to put for a Goa fee .. almost completely terrible.. good luck with these ppl . ****Update 2025 ! Still been trying to use honk over the years, I use them here and there but the app has gotten all the way terrible.. completely bad .. It’s to the point I’m bout to cancel contract with them .. the pay is extremely low the app never updates so you cannot close out on calls and even if you call the support line it’s still no help if they cannot get in contact with customer to confirm you completed job since the app never works right. Drove an hour just not to get paid because the app is really terrible and they cannot get in contact with customer.. they make you use 3rd parties numbers to get in contact with the customer and the numbers can be from any state and nowadays most people have spam blocker on so it’s impossible to contact customer when you using numbers like that . You would think with the bad reviews they would fix things .. it’s not worth using your truck/car , money and have to maintenance everything plus pay taxes .. please do better honk and do right by your contractors ### 1/5 — Stay away *2025-02-27, version 4.4.4* Stay away they will burn you they’re impossible to communicate with its all part of they’re strategy this is a garbage company ### 1/5 — Provider *2025-02-24, version 4.4.4* The service is very bad. I am tired of the bad treatment from some of the company’s employees towards me and not giving me the full amounts. Jobs lag and when you’re going on scene it doesn’t update. Since you’re not showing on scene you cannot clear the call out. I’d prefer to use Towbook with it but that doesn’t always work either. Now for Honk. If you run into an issue with a live call the dispatch line does nothing but tell you to go online to resolve the issue. Why they can’t help you while connected is beyond me. We spent over 90 minutes trying to find one of their customers only to find out they needed a tow and not light service. They gave us a GOA of $20 instead of my contracted $35. We lost out on plenty of opportunities in my home area for nothing. I’ve since terminated this contract with them as they are costing me more than I can make with them. Oh not to mention they confirm with the customer the job is done before they pay you. And if they turn it down then send it to everyone in the area . Why did you allow me to service three customers without insurance if it is a requirement ? And I got all of those calls it was 10 minutes on the 2nd one because my phone was In The other room and i got that call and the others . You’re telling me there were no providers in the area at all ? On a Saturday night at 8 pm that paid $64 for a jump start but now I can’t even click on the alert while looking at the app as it appears before it awarded somewhere else 10 times in a row ? I think it’s a scam to make u buy insurance ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-10-28, version 4.4.4* Notifications do not go off, if they do it’s for a call we have already been dispatched or a call that was canceled. We miss calls constantly because of this issue. When we do get calls it marks our eta wrong and won’t finish out a job, so I have to call in to the honk office and have them mark our status manually. I keep getting emails saying that I did not sent the assigned driver. I have photos and dash cam footage of every call. Your app is not updating location properly and it is hurting my business. As a contracted service provider, I have fulfilled every requirement and policy they expect—arriving on time, providing proof, and following the correct procedures. Despite this, HONK repeatedly denies legitimate payments and makes the process intentionally difficult. This appears to be a pattern with HONK—making excuses, rejecting valid claims, and doing everything possible to avoid paying providers for work that was legitimately performed. For a company that relies entirely on service providers to operate, their approach to payments and support is unacceptable. Their system errors prevent providers from submitting wait-time requests, and rather than correcting the issue, HONK simply denies payment. HONK needs to address these ongoing problems, improve their transparency, and start treating their partners fairly. Just take a look at all the negatives before you consider joining this dumpster fire of a motor club ### 1/5 — M&M roadside *2025-09-04, version 4.4.19* Worst roadside you can ever have they send you calls then cancel and you will never get paid for goa I was with them for almost 1 year then 11 months then a customer did a damage claim which was all false information and honk accepted the claim and we showed pics of the call it was a tire service the customer had a trailer hooked in with a boat and all we did was replace the tire everything was perfect the customer claimed the tire wasn’t torc correctly which is a lie and try to have me pay $800 for the false accusation trying to get money off the insurance customer hit something hard that messed his tire and try to blame us and honk I trying to charge me they don’t pay well they make drive miles and Al cancel the calls and won’t even pay enough I would never join them again it’s definitely 100% honk fault and I’m not the only one that complains of this app with these real low rates NEVER EVER AGAIN ITS YOUR LOSS HONK!!!! ### 1/5 — Taking jobs away like uber Lyft from service providers *2025-08-30, version 4.4.19* Very sad some people sitting in office taking jobs away from local service providers. I have been using it since November 2024, and have never really had a problem. A couple times the app glitched out and caused me to miss a gig or two. For the most part it is very basic and straightforward. I will continue to take on jobs for HONK!!
