旅行先が決まるたびに「この街を舞台にした小説ってないかな」と検索していたのですが、HONTABIに出会ってからその手間が消えました。都市名から本を逆引きできるのが本当に便利で、京都やパリのような定番だけでなく、まさか自分の行く小さな街にもゆかりの作品があったのか、という発見が毎回あります。
特に気に入っているのは、複数の文学スポットをAIが巡礼コースに組み立ててくれる機能。観光ガイドに載っていない場所が混ざってくるので、ベタな観光地巡りに飽きてきた人ほど刺さると思います。チェックインで地図に灯りが点いていく感覚も良くて、旅の記録が「行った場所」じゃなく「読んだ世界に立った場所」として残っていくのが新鮮です。
