Cannot split rooms at all. Customer support just stops communicating. ### 4/5 — Great Robot Vacuum *2025-08-05, version 1.0.5* 3 years now it has worked great. There are spotty bugs with mapping after updates. I have it where it works great and I just don’t update the software. But yeah it’s great at vacuuming. I’m running version 2.6. 65 I won’t update past this till they release a good fix to all the issues. Also once this one dies I cannot purchase another one of these brands. Support hints in review. *2025-04-27, version 1.0.5* Zero support from company. . Here are some hints. The login needs a full email otherwise the button is disabled. The iPhone can shorten, leading to frustration. Robot ignoring zones is a sign that the zone was just a mopping zone. Redo with mopping and vacuuming exclusion zone (red) instead. I’m running Firmware version 3.5.32 ### 3/5 — App needs updating *2025-02-17, version 1.0.5* The app for the robot vacuum needs changes to it, otherwise the robot and everything else is fine. First of all the map needs change. It needs to be more clear where the robot is on the map. Instead of a little purple dot, maybe use an icon like roborock does for their vacuum. Second, the app needs to be able to go full screen on iPad. And third, maybe a different voice and different noises for the robot. That’s really all for now. Thanks! 👾 Also, y’all need to make more updates constantly. ### 3/5 — Bug *2025-01-22, version 1.0.5* At some point go to charge smartphone button stopped working and is inactive even after reinstallyng the app. Now I cant send it back to charging point remotely. So, app is not fully functional anymore. Please correct the bug. It also always shiws medium level on water tank hovewer its empty. It was great, but now it’s just spinning in circles unable to maneuver around the room like it did before. Has issues detecting mapped rooms for pin and go and the scheduled room cleanings. Also keeps claiming wheels are raised when it’s on flat surfaces, cleaning bin has been clean and there’s no clogs in the brushes. The power/speed of the vacuum also seems to have diminished vs when I got it a few months ago. ### 2/5 — Ignores keep out areas *2024-10-24* I’ve setup a few keep out areas and the vacuum bot completely ignores these. This essentially makes the bot unusable, so it just sits in the cradle waiting for an update that will fix the bug. I filed a bug report a couple of months ago and have received absolutely no response. ### 4/5 — Very Effective but one thing *2024-10-12, version 1.0.5* Love the app, it’s clean, works smoothly and all around great. I have an R7, I wish there was a section where you could see the history of each clean run. For example: 2:50 cleaned for 68 mins. And if it went out multiple times then it would show them all of the day. ### 3/5 — Love the vacuum *2024-10-07, version 1.0.5* I love the robot vacuum, I have no complaints on how well it vacuums. It does a really good job and I love the mop feature, which is basically just wiping the floors but it’s better than nothing. I do have an issue with the app not letting me split up some rooms and hallways, it’s been like that for months. A fix on this would be great! It was splitting rooms so easily when we first got it but now it will hardly split any rooms and hallways at all. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore. *2024-09-26, version 1.0.5* The app is unresponsive (buttons or applied changes) anymore. Although it’s successfully paired with device, both don’t work. And the worst is that the customer support doesn’t respond to warranty requests. ### 2/5 — I. NEED. HELP. *2024-09-16, version 1.0.5* I have had no luck trying to contact anyone for assistance. Everything seems to send me to “contact seller”. The machine works fine, it’s the software that has gone crazy. Installed in early August, it mapped the house and we set up zones. The APP is ok but could really use a manual for us old “technology handicapped” people (and blocked a zone to keep it out of the den). the unit worked fine and we set it scheduled overnight to sweep non Bedroom areas. Then one morning we woke up and discovered the mapping on the APP had gone crazy. It’s wonky twisted, like a second map was made and twisted to 20 degrees to the left (have screen caps to show). Now the zones are all mixed up and us and the machine are confused. Tried to directly contact APP but keep getting the Contact Seller. I would like help fixing this _________ problem. Somebody please. 😡 UNTIL this problem is Corrected, I DO. NOT. RECOMMEND this app. I am seriously frustrated and quickly becoming irate. ### 2/5 — Connect to WiFi *2024-08-15, version 1.0.5* I can’t get the app to connect to my WiFi. I’ve done all the troubleshooting they have suggested & no luck. Frustrated!! ### 1/5 — No Alexa or Siri support! *2024-08-03, version 1.0.5* I have the Honiture Q6 Pro, there is no way to control this with Alexa or Siri. I can add the robovac to the tuya or smart life app’s but then you can only ask Alexa to clean the entire map and not specific rooms… in short this app is junk and the lack of support by honiture is disgusting…. Save your money and buy a roomba as good as the q6 pro is the control app is all but useless! ### 1/5 — No option for Q5 *2024-07-26, version 1.0.5* No option to add Q5 model ### 1/5 — Mapping errors *2024-07-16, version 1.0.5* My robot and the app was fine (not perfect) until a recent update. Now the mapping gets skewed and the robot isn’t functioning properly. I have to re-map once a week now because of this error. Before this update, the robot often would disconnect from the WiFi. Have a Horniture Q6 Pro vacuum and using iPhone. Mapping has always been problematic but now it doesn’t work at all. Too bad because the app used to be great but every update seemed to introduce map bugs. ### 1/5 — Stopped working. Poor customer service. *2025-12-06, version 1.0.6* The device stopped working. It just spins in a circle and never finds the docking station. When I contacted customer service they replied once and then ghosted me. I’ve emailed several times. But after just three runs, the map got completely scattered and made the device practically inoperable. I have to retrain the map every few weeks, which sometimes gets in the way of when I want to clean. Now out of the return window, I’m stuck with a brick of e-waste. Additionally — most of these 5 star reviews are paid for and done immediately after getting the device. The shady manufacturers bribe people into 5 star reviews by offering gift cards in exchange. ### 1/5 — Can’t use it as I don’t have wifi *2025-02-02, version 1.0.5* I just can’t use this app at all because I don’t have a wifi at my house.
