Hook Caption is a focused short-video caption utility for creators who want a faster path from rough clip to readable, ready-to-post export. Import a video, choose or write a strong opening hook, add timed caption cards, preview common short-video safe zones, check caption timing quality, export a captioned video, and share an SRT subtitle file when you need one. Version 2.2 adds Word Sync Studio: per-word timing, karaoke display modes (reveal, fill, pop, box), auto-fit, nudge, and lock so each word hits on the beat. Timing Audit still checks first-caption speed, hook length, reading speed, overlaps, gaps, and coverage before export. Your work is saved automatically The app now saves your hook text, caption cards, caption style, platform choice, post caption, and hashtags as you work. Reopen HookCaption and your last project is ready - no re-entering captions between sessions. Save and reuse your own hooks Tap the heart icon next to "Opening Hook" to save any hook to your personal library. Saved hooks appear in a collapsible list below the starters - tap to load, tap the trash icon to remove. Keeps up to 30 hooks.
