## What is Hoopstack AI Skill Development?

Hoopstack is a basketball player-development tool for coaches, the players they coach, and those players' parents.

HOW IT WORKS

A coach evaluates a player against a structured set of questions. The player fills in their own self-assessment of the same areas. Hoopstack turns the two together into a development plan: what the player is good at, what to work on, and the workouts to get there.

A plan is never shown to a player or a parent until the coach has read it and approved it. That approval is a real step, not a formality — an unapproved plan is not visible to anyone but the coach.

FOR COACHES
• Your roster, with each player's evaluation state at a glance
• Evaluate a player and build their development plan
• Review and approve plans before players see them

FOR PLAYERS
• Your own self-assessment
• Your approved development plan
• The workouts that come from it

FOR PARENTS
• See your child's information and plan, once you have consented

ABOUT YOUNG ATHLETES

Hoopstack holds information about young players, so we are specific about it. Creating an account requires a date of birth and is refused under 13. A younger player can still be on a roster as a profile created by their coach, and a parent or guardian consents before being given access to that child's information.

You can delete your account, and everything personal in it, from inside the app.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-07

Vitamins and drills now keep honest track of your time.

• Vitamins - your weekly minute budget is shown with how much of it you have used, and a session you did not get to is marked Missed instead of quietly disappearing.
• Drills - start and pause a clock while you work; the active time you actually spent is saved with your result.
• Small fixes and polish.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-02

The app now wears the new black theme end to end.
- Development plans render as a structured document, for coaches and players alike.
- Schedule event colors now match the web app.
- Coaches: the dashboard unlocks once every player's development plan is generated - with a clear progress card until then.
- Small fixes and polish.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-28

Coaches now get a real workspace on the phone.

• Messages — talk with your players and staff, and start new conversations with the players on your team.
• Calendar — practices, games, workouts and film sessions in one place, with event details and RSVPs. Coaches can create events for their team.
• Roster — add a player and send the invitation in one step, resend or revoke pending invitations, and edit a player's position, jersey, height and date of birth.
• Dashboard — cycle day, hours trained, evaluation progress, what needs attention, and the events coming up next.

Sign-up in the app is now for organizations. Players, parents and coaches join from an invitation sent to their e-mail.

Plus fixes and polish across the player experience.
