We each had the 10 shrimp and fries special. They were delicious and we all loved them. We also each had 10 wings which were fabulous as usual! Last but not least was Jess the bartender. She was a pleasure to talk to and was extremely attentive. Always asking if we were doing OK. Excellent service and a great attitude! On another note, why the heck did you close the Hooter’s in McKinney, TX (Frisco, TX also)?!?! Both are up north and the closest ones around to many customers. Just my two cents. The food was good as well but the drinks were not good the tea and lemonade tastes like dirty water with very little flavoring. The carbonated drinks were not in service and we were offered water but needed a few lemons to make it taste better. It was hot (expected) but with no drinks it was uncomfortable. Don’t bother. ### 1/5 — April 1st special *2026-04-02, version 2.6* Why did Hooters run this April Fools chicken wing special with NO STAFF????? I arrived at Hooters around 6:05. There was NO host at all and no one came to the door until roughly 20 minutes later. We didn’t get our food until 7:40p. Somehow our food order “magically” got lost.. I’m very disappointed. My appetizer which was a fry and cheese sauce took over 40 minutes to receive and guess what it came out COLD. I expect to be contacted to resolve this issue. I’m a very concerned, the acting manager on duty was in the back cooking . So many customers came to the bar to complain to our bartender about not seeing their waiter / waitress for over 15 minutes . We ended up at the bar beside no host came and we got skipped because a regular customer came in and went straight to the bar , I didn’t know it was open bar , kept restaurants have a host who direct you . I’m reaching out because who ever is running this franchise location really needed to be there or have something in place to accommodate the crowd and if they didn’t they should have rolled up their sleeves and worked hard like these workers who want to be at home with their families as well. I also ordered twenty wings , 4 of them were flats and the rest was drums, I asked about this before I ordered to ensure I don’t get a plate full of drum parts. I’m completely disappointed and in awe to my experience tonight . And although I went for the $3.99 wing special, we spent $50. So I get the gimmick but at least you guys could have coverage . To make things worse , my husband and I are educators , we have to get up early for work. This took entirely too long . The only positive takeaway was our bartender Tia. She was patient and kind and took many complaints that had nothing to do with her. Where do you go when you want chicken to me it’s Hooters. My Hooters experience at the bar was horrific at 9:00 PM at Lakeland Hooters II. Just to clarify exit 32. Very pleasant bartender but very slow service. Apparently the sweet blonde bartender got into the weeds as the store filled up. Just my honest review she talks a lot to the regulars he got herself into the weeds and then she exploded when management wasn’t there to help her. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and curly fries. Food came out fries were cold and it was the worst chicken sandwich that I have ever had taste tasted like plastic and the chicken was rubbery just poor quality did not taste any buffalo sauce on my buffalo chicken sandwich. Overall review by category: Service zero out of 10 Quality of food zero out of 10 Customer satisfaction to recommend this location and or return -10 out of 10 Overall score 0 out of 10. Recommendations: Hooters management everything in this review is your fault for training in every area y’all need to do better period up 62 years old I’ve been to Hooters in Clearwater many times I’ve been to Hooters in Miami Biscayne Bay many times and I’ve even been to Hooters in Winston-Salem North Carolina, Mooresville North Carolina,. I have not been to Hooters in a long time and I do not plan to go back anytime soon y’all need to do better ### 1/5 — No more free anything *2025-11-15, version 2.6* Everything that use to come free on special occasions. Now requires a purchase of some kind. There’s no reason to have this app anymore.
